Enjoy a relaxing retreat in this rustic family camp with shared private access to and views of Webster Lake in Franklin, NH.  Webster Camp is a seasonal camp, built in 1923. It still retains the historic charm, including open ceilings, exposed beams and a loft. Enjoy views of the lake while having game night around the table on the enclosed porch.  Take in sunsets over the lake from the large two-tier open deck, which provides plenty of seating, a propane grill, and a fire pit!   This is a rustic seasonal camp with loads of historic charm and caters best to the “outdoorsy” crowd. There are 3 bedrooms. Two of the smaller bedrooms are camp-style and open air to the loft above. The bunk room provides the most beds and has a window unit AC for warm nights. There is also an enclosed porch which has a queen futon. We have a toddler, so there is a crib for your use in the bunk room as well. We also have a high chair, and other baby/toddler equipment available upon request. You will have access to the entire camp, yard, deck and shed. There is a garage under the house for storage that is locked and there is a loft in the camp which has been gated off and used for storage. The loft gets very hot and is not suitable for sleeping. I live in Florida and will be available via the app. I do have a property manager in the neighborhood to handle any technical issues that should come up. Please contact me first. There are two public beaches on Webster Lake, Griffin Beach and Lagace Beach, each of them are walking distance if you like to walk. Downtown Franklin is a short drive, where you can find Mill City Park (the new white water park), a coffee shop, restaurants, breweries, and a kayaking /tour shop. The lake is stocked for fishing and usually calm for paddling/kayaking. Franklin Falls recreational area is also a short drive and provides a mountain biking park, disc golf, walking trails and views of the dam. Mount Kearsage via Winslow park is a great hike and only a 25 minute drive west. Mount Cardigan is a 37 minute drive. Reach out if you are interested in other hikes/activities in the area. There is parking for 4 cars on the right side of the house, while looking at it from the street (past the house on the left as you approach). Please do not park on the side of the house where the deck is, as that is where the septic drain field is located. Lake access is provided by a dock shared with two neighbors. The dock is in the water approximately Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend each year. There is an easement with a stairway down to the dock in between the two cottages in front of the camp.
