Description
Experience what it’s like to live in a skoolie without the commitment of selling all your worldly possessions and hitting the road. With its queen size bed and 2 cot sized bunks Brida sleeps 4. A propane stove to cook on or dine in town at our local grill! You’ll learn how to use a composting toilet and realize just how tiny a skoolie shower can be. Dirkes Lake is a short 15 min. Pleanty to do in the city of Twin Falls! Please note this is a tiny and unique stay, which may not be for everyone. The space The bus is parked in our large driveway beside an apple tree with a small outdoor space including a patio table and chairs. The bus living space is small but functional, a dinette table that is removable for extra seating space, a long couch and kitchen with old style propane stove and sink. 3/4 size fridge and space to store your groceries. Next is the composting toilet room and shower. Since this is a bus the ceiling slopes and the shower is only 5’5 height. The shower is a small 2x2 space and really only good for a quick rinse off. The bunks are comfy and the same length as a twin bed but slightly more narrow. In the back of the bus is the comfy queen size bed and smart tv. Please note the the interior height of the bus is 6 feet, if you are over 6 foot in height you will not be able to fully stand up in the bus - but fear not there is plenty of space to sit and relax and you likely won’t be standing much inside anyways! We lived in this bus for a year full time and LOVED it, it’s definitely a different lifestyle but an amazing experience that we hope you enjoy as well. And yes…THE BUS IS FOR SALE! Message with inquiries. Guest access We currently only have the bus and the front area ready for guests to use - please don’t go into the backyard unless you ask - we’ll gladly give you a tour. In the future we will have this better set up for fires and even have second tiny house next summer!! Other things to note The bus does get quite hot in the summer! We have it parked in a shady area and have one A/C unit. That being said on a 100+ degree day outside you may not be comfortable in the bus until the evening time. We are 15 min away from kayaking and swimming at the river! Or 10 from the city pool. Below 100 degrees outside the bus should be comfy.
