Other things to note Location: This cabin is situated in a small, peaceful campground, surrounded by nature. It’s designed for guests who enjoy camping, glamping, and outdoor experiences. Bathhouse: The cabin does not have running water, and the bathroom facilities are located in a shared bathhouse about 100 yards away. The bathhouse is shared with guests staying in other cabins and RVs, so the campground may have a few other visitors during your stay—sometimes it’s quiet, and other times it can be busier. While we do our best to ensure the bathhouse is reserved for cabin guests, some RV owners might occasionally use the facilities. The bathhouse is located in the green building to your right as you enter the campground. It’s just a minute (or less) walk from the cabin. Please note, the cabin does not have a private bathroom, and the bathhouse is shared with other Airbnb guests before booking. Water View: The body of water near the cabin may fluctuate based on the weather. Depending on the season, you may or may not have a water view. The nearest boat launch is only a 3-minute walk away, perfect for water activities! Pet Policy: We welcome most pets (dogs, cats, lizards, hedgehogs, bunnies, etc.). If you’re bringing a dog, please make sure they’re not left unattended for long periods unless in a crate. If this is a concern, feel free to reach out — we can work together to make your pet’s stay more comfortable. Please clean up after your pet and keep them on a leash at all times. You may be responsible for any damages caused by your pets. Bedding & Comfort: Bedding is provided, but depending on the weather, you might want to bring extra blankets or bedding for added comfort. In the winter, we recommend sleeping bags, as temperatures can drop to the negatives (though it’s not very common). We do provide electric heaters and a heated mattress pad to help keep you warm! Water Activities: While swimming in the canal is not permitted, you’re welcome to kayak or canoe in the water. Please bring your own equipment for these activities. No Towels or Toiletries Provided: We do not provide towels, toiletries, or cleaning products. Be sure to bring your own! Charcoal Grill: A simple charcoal grill is provided, but guests will need to bring their own charcoal and lighter fluid. Please put out any fires when done using grill. Parking: There is one designated parking space for your cabin, with additional parking available in front of the campground. Off-Grid Experience: This cabin is off the grid, so please be prepared for a more rustic experience. Please note, the Wi-Fi connection is not the strongest, and while we’ll provide you with the name and password, we cannot guarantee reliable service. You may not always have a connection, so it’s a great opportunity to unplug and relax. There is a TV available, but it is not a smart TV and does not offer Roku or Wi-Fi access. It’s mainly there for guests who want to bring their own devices or gaming console. Liability & Damages: Finally, please remember that this is an off-grid-style cabin, and you’re staying here at your own risk. We want you to enjoy the outdoors and explore, not be cooped up inside the cabin all day. We are not liable for any accidents or damages during your stay, so please come prepared to enjoy the simple, adventurous experience! By booking with us, you agree that we are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or incidents that may occur during your stay. You are responsible for any damages caused to the property, furnishings, or surrounding areas during your stay, and you may be charged for any necessary repairs or replacements.
