Surveillance: Each Accommodation may be monitored by video electronic surveillance on the exterior of the house for guest security and to ensure that local law and the rules of the community are respected. Accommodations may include noise alert decibel monitoring systems in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. 3.Nature: This home is located in a rainforest near the base of a mountain. We have critters both large and small that we share the land with. From Ants to bats, mice and raccoons, bears and bobcats, we do everything possible to keep them outside. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, as it looks like a free meal for the wildlife. 4.WiFI and Cellular Service: Due to the remote location, cable TV, cellular service, and high-speed internet are not available. The home has free WIFI and a smart TV for streaming your favorite subscription channels. There's also little cell phone service near Mt Baker ski area. Wi-Fi is DSL and ranges between 4-9 mbps depending on the time of day and how many people are online.  **Internet service in the Mt. Baker area experiences intermittent outages and these circumstances are beyond our control. Our area is limited to one service provider and we appreciate your understanding with the following policy:  We are unable to offer a refund for accommodations based on WIFI outages, speed or disruptions. 5. Weather: The mountains provide us with so much to offer, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please be prepared for all types of severe weather from excess heat in the summer to heavy rains in the Spring & Fall and Snow and Ice in the winter. It is highly recommended that you bring a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Due to the potential harsh weather, power outages and internet outages happen from time to time and are out of our control. We do not issue any refunds for loss of power or internet. Please prepare for all types of weather when visiting the mountains. 6. Gated Community / HOA: The Snowater Resort is a private gated community that borders the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest and is one of the closest communities to the Mt. Baker Ski Area. The HOA/ Community requires gate cards for guest access, parking permits for your vehicles dashboard, has rules for quiet hours (10pm- 8am), leash laws for pets and a no campfire policy. **Luxury Getaways is required to register ALL vehicles that will be present on the property during your stay. Please provide color, make, model and license plate #s for ALL vehicles that will be on the property during your stay.
