Henington House Garden Cottage
Henington House Garden Cottage
Description
The Henington House Gardener’s Cottage circa 1912, is behind the Historic Henington House circa 1905, above the Carriage House and in between the small Rose Garden, working Cutting Gardens and small Vegetable Garden. The Gardens most of the time, are in the midsts of a project or event prep, but guests are always welcomed to walk around and through them. The space The Gardener’s Cottage circa 1912, IS UPSTAIRS above the Henington Carriage House. The 400sq ft space ( sq ft is not including the deck) has a deck with seating, three bedrooms, a full kitchen and one bathroom (which not uncommon for homes of this era, you have to go through 2 of the bedrooms to access the bathroom.) The Master bedroom has a small sitting area with a smart TV. There is only one large closet and it is in the Master bedroom. Many of our guests have used the smallest bedroom right off of the Bath as a dressing area. Please note, we are in a historic neighborhood and district so the homes are NOT new and pristine. The HH Gardener’s Cottage is quaint, quirky and a sweet space, but certainly not perfection. If you like old homes we believe you’ll enjoy the Gardeners Cottage! Guest access Gardener’s Cottage Guests have their own drive during their stay, private entrance and the entire upstairs Gardener’s Cottage. They are also welcome to walk the grounds including the HH Greenhouse spaces and the HH Ladies Creative Workshop. (HH She Shed) Other things to note Most of these details were mentioned previously, -The cottage is an old historic building circa 1912 with new plumbing but old iron bathtub and bathroom sink. -There is one bathroom accessed only by going through two of the three bedrooms -There is only one closet which is in the master bedroom -The two living/sitting areas are small, one in the Master bedroom and the other out on the deck. -There is not a sperate work area but a desk in Bedroom 2 -No Pets
