Forget your worries in this spacious and serene cabin at the top of a mountain with majestic views of Shenandoah Valley! You will have the bright and beautiful walkout basement, with its own private driveway and rear entrance, all to yourself. Enjoy vistas from your private patio, rock ledge, and firepit. The unit has a small kitchen/bar, dining area, living room, and a large bedroom with a full bathroom. A peaceful and romantic getaway located less than 2 hours from Washington, DC. The space The living area is very spacious with a sofa-bed, recliner, and separate dining area (seats 4). There is a 55in smart TV and an electric fireplace. The sofa-bed is a queen size pull-out, thus the unit can accommodate 4 people comfortably. The fully stocked kitchen/bar has a small fridge and wine fridge. The bedroom (separate with barn door) is large with a good amount of storage for your items, to include a clothes bar for hanging items, and space to do your morning yoga … unless you decide to enjoy the exterior and the beautiful views outside instead! There are extra towels, linens, and blankets available for your convenience. There is space with a desk and stool if you need to work from home, too. Guest access You will have access to the entire walkout basement, the patio space at ground level, the firepit on the side of the house, and the lower driveway which provides your own access to the entrance. You can easily fit multiple cars. Please do not park in the upper driveway where the garage is located. Other things to note Please be advised that there is a lot of wildlife in the area, to include bears and poisonous snakes (timber rattlers). Be mindful of your pet. In winter, a 4x4 vehicle is advisable due to the steep incline of the mountain road. However, the roads are very well maintained. Please remember this is a wooded area and you are in a walk-out basement, so small bugs (crickets, spiders, stink-bugs) are the norm!
