Enjoy something special. A house like from a picture book with a quality of living that is second to none. The cozy living room with large flat-screen TV invites you to linger. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge incl. freezer, stove, oven and coffee machine leaves nothing to be desired. The cottage has 4 bedrooms, each with a double box spring bed. The spacious bathroom on the upper floor with a walk-in shower, infrared cabin and a bathtub completes the overall picture. Especially in summer you can spend relaxed barbecue evenings in our large garden. Wi-Fi and parking in front of the house are available free of charge. The bright and spacious double rooms all have a double bed and some have a pull-out sofa. In addition, all rooms offer a large 43" flat-screen TV with international satellite channels and free Wi-Fi. On the ground floor there is another modern bathroom with shower and toilet. Linens and towels are of course provided. Directly from the front door you can enter an endless network of hiking trails through our Franconian Forest. Our eBike rental with high-quality Cube mountain bikes is available directly at the house if required. Get into one of the best hiking areas in Germany. Some of the most famous hiking trails start right in the immediate vicinity, such as the Rennsteig or the 12 Apostle Trail (Award Wanderbares Deutschland). But even with the eBike, the Franconian Forest is a true highlight. Due to its many valleys and heights, it is ideally suited for wonderful tours. The town of Steinwiesen is located in the middle of the beautiful Franconian Forest and only 40 km from the festival city of Bayreuth. Steinwiesen offers everything you need for a vacation. There is an indoor and outdoor pool with a large sauna area, tennis courts, supermarkets, doctors, bakery and butcher, restaurants and a tourist information office where you can plan excursions. And all around our wonderful nature. The town center is easily accessible within walking distance of 200 m. The Ködeltalsperre with magnificent fjords and an 11 km long circular path (car-free) is only 2 km away. This invites you to take bike tours or long walks. The district town of Kronach with its Rosenberg fortress and the magnificent old town is also worth a trip. The spa town of Bad Steben with its beautiful spa and casino is only about 18 km away. Enjoy beautiful days in beautiful nature and in a luxury log cabin. The bright and spacious double rooms all have a double bed and some have a pull-out sofa.
