Quail Park Haven in NW! King Beds & Hot Tub
About the host
Description
Relax in this peaceful NW Bend home with king beds and access to Quail Park. Enjoy natural light from the skylights and high ceilings. Kick back in the expansive backyard with mature plantings, tall trees and flagstone paths. Multiple patios including a deck off the living room, a paver patio with fire-pit, hot tub, outdoor furniture and gas BBQ. EV charger, HEPA air filter and garage access. No parties or pets please. Trip insurance recommended if illness, weather or smoke may be an issue. The space The property is in an established quiet westside neighborhood near Central Oregon Community College. The neighborhood is a mix of families with young children to retirees, and everything in between. The home is on a cul-de-sac with no through traffic. Quail Park is accessed via a walking path 1 house away from your front door. Behind the home is an undeveloped area with a walking path. Guest access You will have access to the entire home and property, with the exception of 1 bedroom which is reserved for owner storage. There are 2 bedrooms for your use. Other things to note A security camera is in place for protection of the property. It overlooks the front driveway area. Fires in the outdoor fire pit are not allowed when the Deschutes County Burn ban is in place (this is generally the hot part of the summer/fall). The home is in a quiet neighborhood and we strongly encourage guests to look for other accommodation if they are looking for any kind of rowdy or noisy behavior, especially late in the evening. The neighbors are long-time homeowners and we respect them by ensuring harmonious guests. Please drive very cautiously in the cul-de-sac as children to ride bikes in it. No smoking or vaping of any kind in the home - it will be noticed. A "Minut" brand noise detection device is in the home -- it does not record or transmit audio but does measure decibel level. We are not unreasonable but do expect guests to treat the home and neighborhood with care. Wildfire smoke is a significant risk in the mid-summer to late fall in the PNW, especially east of the Cascades. Please note that both Airbnb (and by extension, us as hosts) can not predict or control the weather or the smoke, and neither of these are considered grounds for exceptions to the refund policy. If you want a more flexible cancellation policy due to air quality/smoke, we recommend purchasing travel insurance through Airbnb, which is offered to you during the booking process. If your time in Bend is impacted by smoke, we are happy to help you make the best of it—there are often times of day or parts of the surrounding area that are far less smoky than others. We live here and understand the challenge. Note that dogs are not allowed, including Emotional Support Animals, which are not recognized as service animals in the state of Oregon. If you are bringing a service animal, we would appreciate if you would describe what duties or work it has been trained to perform, and if it is required because of a disability.
