Trip insurance recommended if illness, weather or smoke may be an issue. The space The property is in an established quiet westside neighborhood near Central Oregon Community College. The neighborhood is a mix of families with young children to retirees, and everything in between. The home is on a cul-de-sac with no through traffic. Quail Park is accessed via a walking path 1 house away from your front door. Behind the home is an undeveloped area with a walking path. Guest access You will have access to the entire home and property, with the exception of 1 bedroom which is reserved for owner storage. There are 2 bedrooms for your use. Other things to note A security camera is in place for protection of the property. It overlooks the front driveway area. Fires in the outdoor fire pit are not allowed when the Deschutes County Burn ban is in place (this is generally the hot part of the summer/fall). The home is in a quiet neighborhood and we strongly encourage guests to look for other accommodation if they are looking for any kind of rowdy or noisy behavior, especially late in the evening. The neighbors are long-time homeowners and we respect them by ensuring harmonious guests. Please drive very cautiously in the cul-de-sac as children to ride bikes in it. No smoking or vaping of any kind in the home - it will be noticed. A "Minut" brand noise detection device is in the home -- it does not record or transmit audio but does measure decibel level. We are not unreasonable but do expect guests to treat the home and neighborhood with care.
