Traditional architecture and "Krodoma", the name of the house given by the owner, that is, the irregular limestone slab at the end of the roof. The house is located just a few minutes from the center of the island, however the neighborhood has few houses at a distance from each other and every visitor enjoys a calm environment. As it is located at a low altitude, the view you enjoy from the terrace of the house is unique, overlooking all the neighboring villages of the island. The space This is a traditional residence that was home to the family for many years. Of course, even now, people still visit her at the first opportunity. It was built with personal care and attention by the owners themselves to meet their needs. Situated on a hill, this house always offers a sense of carefree tranquility and peace, without, however, being isolated from the main settlement of Apollonia for your most exciting excursions. As we approach, we see the paved terrace with the garden seating area and the water trough, as well as a large garden with plants and fig and lemon trees. Upon entering the house, you will find the kitchen, which is equipped with everything you need. The owner always makes sure there are supplies available for preparing a quick meal during the day. In the same area, there is an elegant dining area with a handmade table and a sofa bed that can accommodate one person. Following a short hallway to the left, there are closets that serve as storage space for guests' belongings. A fairly spacious bathroom with a shower and all necessary toiletries is located at the end of the small hallway. Finally, there is the bedroom, which has a double bed and a bunk bed with two single beds to accommodate four more people. There are windows around the entire house and balcony doors from the kitchen and bedroom, which means that the house is well-ventilated and sunny throughout the day. Finally, air conditioning has been installed in the bedroom, even before the start of the 2023 summer season. Guest access The house is located just after the church of Agios Antipas in the settlement of Ano Petali. From the port in Kamares follow the road to Apollonia and just after the bridge, just before Apollonia, there is a sign on the road where you follow the route to the left for the settlement of Ano Petali. At the end of this route there is a free parking space 2 minutes away from the house. From there, follow an uphill path with 50 steps to get there. If you wish, we can offer you transportation for your belongings by some means at a small cost. Other things to note The house is a 10-minute walk from the center of the island, where you will find the shopping alley of Apollonia. Many shops, restaurants, bakeries, cafes and bars for nightlife. Also, very close is the traditional village of village of Artemonas, which you can visit either by following a path about 15 minutes on foot, or by car with a route of about 5 minutes. Finally, either by car, or by buses starting from the center of Apollonia, you can visit all the parts of the island and explore it. Other important information: Under current legislation in Greece, a tax per night is provided, which is included in the final price of the reservation.
