Relax in this peaceful, 2 bedroom retreat in breezy Mt. Moritz, just off the coast of Grand Mal. It is comfortable and cozy. Surrounded by lush vegetation, trees and flowers, yoiu will fall in love with the village and the friendly villagers. We are not exactly in the heart of town but the bus stop is only a few ft away. Rosie's Restful Retreat, is one breeze away from Grand Mal Beach, and about 10-20 minutes to St. George's by bus, depending on traffic. The space Guests have the entire bottom floor unit to themseves with their own private entrance and do not have to share the spaces within the unit such as, the kitchen, rooms, bathroom, and lliving area with anyone. The unit consists of two bedrooms, each with a double bed. Each bedroom has a portable fan, linens. Upon request, extra blankets, and pillows will be provided. There is also a mosquito net in each room and a closet with hangers where guest can hang their clothes. One of the bedrooms has an air conditioner. The bedrooms open into a hallway which leads to a full bathroom. Each guest can access the bathroom from his / her own room. The bathroom has hot water, and a laundry basket in case guest needs to do laundry( there is a washing machine available free of cost for guests to use) however, I do asks guests to be mindful and considerate of water use and limit washing to not more once or twice a week. Also, I do not provide laundry detergent. There are clothes lines at the back of the house where guests can hang their clothes to dry in the sun. If preferred, there is also a drying rack where you can hang your clothes to dry. I provide all the basics for the bathroom: toilet paper, shower gel, and towels. I do not provide toothpaste. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything one will need to feel like home away from home: microwave, toaster, blender, coffee machine, coffee, tea, a stove with an oven for guest to cook, baking sheets, dishes, pots, etc Guests can relax in the living room and watch lots of movies programmed with a firestick. Guests can also sit outside and relax with a book and a drink underneath a palm tree which provides shade day or night. The apt. is very quiet and peaceful. The maximum amount of guests listed for the unit is 4. Guests are allowed to have visitors but only registered guests are allowed to stay at the apt. so please let Airbnb know the total number of registered guests that will be staying at the Airbnb. (registered guests only) The maximum stay for any or all guests is 31 days.( No exceptions) I live upstairs and I am readily available if you need me for anything. Guest access Guests have access to lawn area with outdoor furniture ( a bench) under a palm tree that provides shade and where there is always a cool breeze blowing through. Here, they can relax with a book and a drink. I have also added an outside dining table with an umbrella and 4 chairs where guests can sit and eat meals. You may even see the sunset if you stay outside long enough. There is also space to park in the driveway if guest chooses to drive. Other things to note Feel free to walk through the neighborhood and interact with the locals. They are very friendly and welcoming. There are 2 local food shops in the community that sell basic food stuff such as milk, butter, cheese, juice, water, chicken, etc. They do not sell bread. A bread truck passes througj the village every night Monday through Friday and a vegetable van passes every Saturday in the afternoon. There is also a local bar named Footsie. It is walking distance from the Airbnb where a lot of locals hang out to drink and socialize. In addition, a local breakfast is held in the Mt. Moritz community center on the last Sunday of each month , or if the end of month does not fall on a Sunday, then it will occur on the first Sunday of the following month ) The breakfast costs $25 EC.
