Cozy home in the countryside

This house belonged to my dad, he always told me it was a former stagecoach in the 18th century! Since 2008 we have completely renovated this 200 m2 building. We have lived there ever since, with our 2 grown children. Now we have decided to rent it when we are not living there. We're happy to invite you to come and enjoy our family home Hosting guests in these stones must be the destiny of this home! The space You will appreciate the charm of the French-style stones and ceilings of this house combined with modern comforts but without anything superfluous. On the ground floor you enter a large fully equipped kitchen (Senseo coffee maker) (with an adjoining cellar), which leads to a cozy living room and a dining room. You will also have access to the office (if teleworking) and the laundry room if needed. To go upstairs you will go through a room in which you will find a wood-burning stove, the staircase and a toilet with sink. Upstairs, under the roofs, there are 3 bedrooms with 3 double beds (we provide a fan per room), a bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet. Outside, not overlooked, no neighbors, surrounded by greenery and woods you will find a terrace with a large park, a petanque court, a ping-pong table and a large courtyard in which you can park. Possibility of having access to a closed garage on request (be careful though, although it is tidy, my husband is a handyman, there are plenty of potentially dangerous tools for children). Our accommodation is located on the east side of the road, but the soundproof glazing of the house perfectly limits the noise from cars. In addition, traffic fades around 7–8 p.m. Guest access Access to the whole house Other things to note The beds will be made when you arrive, you will only have to remove the sheets when you leave and place them on the beds. We also provide you with towels (please put aside the towels you have not used and put the used towels in the dirty towels) Indoor games are available in the accommodation. We leave at your disposal our barbecue (it is old, but still does the job) as well as outdoor games (molky, badminton, basketball, pétanque balls, ping-pong rackets...). 5 minutes by car, in Coligny, you will find restaurants (pizzeria, gourmet restaurant) and shops and right next to the house a restaurant (traditional cuisine). 15 min to Saint Amour you will find a Lidl, Super U (with Drive) or in Saint-Etienne du Bois an Intermarché (with Drive) The environment: Our house is located on the edge of the Ain, Jura and Saône-et-Loire departments, between Bresse and Revermont. This location is conducive to many activities: hiking trails, village tours, paragliding, climbing site, free water with supervised swimming, paddle and canoe rentals, tree climbing... Ex. In the Jura you will find lakes, waterfalls, its wine and in winter its snow-covered resorts (1 hour from the Rousses and Lamoura winter resorts). You can visit Saint Claude, the pipe capital, the Hedgehog Waterfalls or Arbois, the village of Pasteur. In summer, go swimming in the Jura mountain lakes (Chalain, Vouglans, etc.) or at the Louvarel or Montrevel leisure center (20 minutes). You can also discover the city of Louhans (45 min) in Saône-et-Loire with its 137 arcades and its large market on Mondays. Or a little further away (1.5 hours) Beaune, a fortified city with its hospices or mustard factory. Revermont is full of walking and cycling paths and exposed stone houses. Discover for example Pressiat, a village close to the house, a site known by paragliders or Treffort known for its medieval village with its castle or the Revermont Museum. Discover Bourg-en-Bresse (20 min) and its surroundings, discover the Royal Monastery of Brou or the Bressan farms (eco-museum 10 min or the Ferme des Planons 30 min), follow the Ain Gorges or swim at Ile Chambaud. Or: Tree climbing courses 10 min from the house Cerdon Caves (1 hour from the house) Dinoplagne with its dinosaur footprints 1 hour away...
