Pass the front porch rockers as you enter the house through the front door to a welcoming living room with a large fireplace, 60" TV, brand new couch with chaise and two modern wingback chairs. Play a tune on the newly and lovingly restored piano or play a parlor game by twinkling fairy lights and LED candle light. At the base of the stairs is a built-in bench with coat hooks for all your winter gear and boots. Continue on the first floor into the kitchen where you'll find updated stainless steel appliances and smaller appliances including food processor, instant pot, and blender. On the right side of the kitchen is a breakfast nook that looks out on the Episcopal church windows and the mountains beyond. Enjoy watching the hummingbirds come and go throughout the summer. In the next room, you'll find the dining area with seating for 12. Continue toward the back door with ramp access, and you'll spot the laundry with updated washer and dryer units, and the first floor bathroom with walk-in shower. Head up the stairs from the living room, and you'll find four well-appointed and thoughtfully designed bedrooms. The z-shaped layout of the upstairs bedrooms provides great privacy for each room, with the bathroom in the middle. The first bedroom on the left offers a king bed with bedside lighting and a 30" Roku-enabled TV. This room has a modest tiger oak secretary desk for those remote work-from-wherever laptop sessions, plus a spacious 6-drawer dresser and a generously-sized closet. Next, you'll find a bedroom with two twin beds, a 3-drawer dresser and a closet. On the right, a full bathroom with a vintage cast-iron tub, great for bathtime with the kids. At the far end of the hall, a bedroom that's great for sleepovers with friends of all ages. The full-size bunk bed is a triple decker, with a full-size pull-out trundle. The fourth room is a queen-size iron-frame bed with a closet. At the end of the hall is a second staircase that leads back down to the dining room. Finally, follow the stairs to the loft where you'll find an assortment of games, from board games, to foosball, to PacMan Arcade, to the original Nintendo. This room doubles as a bedroom with a twin-size daybed and twin-size pull-out trundle. Outside the house, you'll find a firepit with four adirondack chairs and four stools. Use the two-burner grill next to the al fresco dining area which is strung with bistro lights. In addition, you'll find lawn games, including giant Jenga, life-size Connect Four, and a Volleyball/Badminton set. Guests have access to the whole house, including the spacious yard that is outfitted with a firepit, al fresco dining area, and ample parking. Across the street, you can access Whittaker Woods, a popular spot for walking dogs, trail running, x-country skiing, snow shoeing, and mountain biking. Walk to the Village along sidewalks. Cross the street and walk or run to an extensive trail network in Whittaker Woods.
