Wooded Get-Away

If it’s work at ORNL or fun exploring this wonderful area, guests say they feel like they are in a cabin in the woods. Near ORNL, Y-12, Melton Hill, Rowing activities and Haw Ridge’s hiking trails. Our peaceful apartment has a mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig, large shower & walk-in closet. Private back deck. Pets Midge & Woof are our greeters at the window and in the fenced side yard. They love new friends and you are welcome to pet them if you like. 9 steps lead to the private entrance. The space The Wooded Getaway is a apartment in the downstairs part of our home with a private entrance, large windows with a wooded view. All new renovations with luxury vinyl tile, large walk in shower and kitchenette for coffee and snacks. Guest access You will have access to the large deck/porch and covered patio. There is a single parking space in the driveway for you use. During your stay We offer you total privacy but if you need us we are just a text away. One of us works from home about 60% of the time. You will see our Goldendoodle, Midge, in the side yard from time to time. She will not have access to your deck. Other things to note We previously had a home in upstate New York we had on Airbnb with a Super host status. We are just opening our Wooded Getaway in Oak Ridge and will have reviews on it soon.
