Built in 2018, Our private accessory dwelling unit (ADU) is an efficiency space located in the Arts District in the La Alma-Lincoln park neighborhood. La Alma is very centrally located - no car needed. Our modern carriage house is within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, museums, downtown and Denver’s light rail transit system. Our ADU is located behind our home, and is above our garage. We will share the yard space with you and you will hear us come and go. The space Our listing is a second floor efficiency apartment above our garage. It has a first floor entry room with washer/dryer. Keypad entry for the alley entrance and for the apartment. The kitchen has all the usual appliances but please note the fridge is not a full sized fridge. Small backyard with propane grill is available for use. A small stand up desk and office chair are also available for use in the entry room. We use the garage to workout and our car is parked in there so you may hear us occasionally beneath you (though not too early or too late). You are welcome to use the workout space/gym as well- just message us to arrange it. We want to make sure it looks clean and good for you and we will plan our workouts around yours. If you are traveling with children, we have a pack n’ play, a stroller and other kid-friendly gear to make your stay more comfortable. Smoking inside the apartment is strictly prohibited. Help yourself to herbs and veggies available in the garden. Guest access You will have the ADU to yourself. There is a queen bed, a pullout couch, twin air mattress, booster seat and Pack N Play available. The yard is shared space to enjoy. If you want to grill we can make grilling supplies available to you. Our ADU is near downtown and so urban noise is not uncommon. We have provided ear plugs and a noise reduction machine to help offset noises. Other things to note My children go to school at 8 am. And we are home for good most nights by 8 pm.
