Vintage 47 (ca. 1947) is a tastefully renovated, charming & romantic post mission/bungalow style home. Special amenities give you a comfortable and luxurious stay. We have Two Baths & 2 Bedrooms that are separated for more privacy. Located on the Main Street. There is always some noise from traffic. Parking is on side street. Designed with leather furniture, premium quality beds, fiber optic high speed WIFI, smart TVs, Storm shelter, Privacy fenced back yard, Propane grill & Blackstone griddle. The space Please note: the traffic noise is grater during daylight hours, especially on the east side of the Airbnb. If you have any problem with traffic noise then please do not rent our property. You will be treated like kings and queens but we cannot change our location. Also, the majority of our guests do not have a problem with the noise. When you reach the location of Vintage 47 pull up to the northwest side facing the garage door which is surrounded by the large privacy fenced back yard. We will send you detailed entry instructions regarding entry into the private fence and use of the keyless entry before your arrival. As you enter the house your light switch is to your left and you are now in the mud/laundry room. You may use the sittee to remove and hold soiled footwear. Enjoy our state of the art Samsung Bespoke 5.3 cu.' front load washer and Maytag dryer. A portable laundry cart is at your disposal. A large prewash sink and retractable faucet is available as well as a cabinet top that can be used to fold and sort items. An ironing board is in closet in large bedroom and the iron is in the cabinet to the right of the sink. We provide our guests with all free clear liquid laundry detergent packs & bounce fabric soften sheets for the dryer. The largest bedroom is to the right side as you enter. The bed is King size with a medium-firm sleep premium hybrid mattress with luxurious linens and pillows. The bed is tall so a step stool is supplied for each side if needed. Enjoy the Samsung 55" smart TV and use the laptop friendly Standup-Sit down adjustable table and chair for work or entertainment with your personal devices or computer. The closet is large and located in the en suite bathroom. The en suite bathroom has a spacious vanity and neo angle shower with large rain head and wand sprayer. Plush towels and soft rugs are furnished. The spacious closet is nice for the longer stays. We supply our our guests with shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and body wash. The kitchen is easy and convenient for cooking up meals with 4 dining spaces in the kitchen. You may use the round table and chairs in the living room for 4 more dining spaces inside the property. You will be greeted with a few snacks as well as choices for coffees & tea. Please note we do furnish olive oil & other cooking oils as well as a selection of dry spices. The Keurig coffee machine has a ten cup canister as well as k Cup. Several selections of coffee and teas are made available. The living room is east from the Kitchen. A comfortable room with leather furniture and unique designed one of a kind leather and Pendleton coffee table. The leather love seat is a full powered recliner equipped with usb ports. The game table with 4 side chairs offers more space to do puzzles or play a good board game and extra space for eating. You will have a mix of the 40's and modern designs from the present. The queen size futon seats 3 and is easy to convert to a queen bed with a comfortable mattress. The living room easily seats 8 close to the Samsung TV. The modern adjustable led lighting fixtures are a great match with the grand entrance door and side panels original with Vintage 47. The Samsung 65" smart TV sits on top of the electric fireplace. The electric fireplace no longer works properly. The hall way cradles the Nest central heat & Air control. It will detect your presence and light up. Just turn the dial to your preferred comfort setting. We have temperature monitors in both bedrooms. The main full bathroom has a shower and tub with plenty of storage and combination fan light, exhaust and heater controls near the vanity. The second bedroom (east) has two entries. The first entry is the east door at the hallway by the thermostat. The second door is next to the book shelves (games & puzzles) in the living room. The light switch is to the right as you enter from the living room above the guest chair. A Queen sized medium-firm sleep premium hybrid mattress and luxurious linens and pillows along with a nice sized dresser, adequate closet and Samsung 55" smart TV with YouTube TV and other options from Samsung await you. There is also a laptop or game friendly Standup-Sit down adjustable table and chair to use for work and pleasure. There is room outside in the privacy fenced back yard and new porch and patio to enjoy meals, morning or evening tea, coffee or refreshments or show off your cooking skills on the barbeque with breakfast, lunch or dinner on the Blackstone griddle with an electric air fryer or conventional propane grill or use all if you prefer and entertain responsibly according to house rules. Your host furnishes the propane and utensils for cooking outside and please remember to clean the grill(s) each time used and when cooled off please recover them. A fire extinguisher is provided. The Spacious under ground storm shelter is available if needed. Please check it out and it would be a good idea to practice entering and exiting it. Guest access You will be able to access all of the property except two locked closets inside the house and the garage. Other things to note If you have a vehicle or small to medium sized trailer that you want to park securely off street inside the fenced back yard then that option is available at no additional cost. We have a pad that is adjacent to the concrete storm shelter. Also, if you are considered a long-term (over 3 weeks) guest you will need to view the additional rules since the longer length requires more effort from the guest and host.
