Welcome to our bright, comfortable, and cozy Tahoe Donner family cabin! We are located on a quiet street, surrounded by trees and nature. Our home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a comfortable living room, full equipped kitchen, a reading nook, and yes, a sauna!! The home has three floors with stairs throughout. Home Highlights: - Quiet neighborhood - 3 bright bedrooms - 2 bathrooms - Fully equipped kitchen - Fun, retro interior design - Deck - Sauna - Tahoe Donner amenities Walk in through the mudroom, where you will find a place to leave your gear, skis, hiking boots, coats, and more. Up the first set of stairs you find the living room, kitchen, deck, and 1st bathroom with the laundry area and sauna for your enjoyment during your stay. The living room has a small velour sectional, large velour ottoman, and two retro style accent chairs. The room surrounds a fireplace that is great for those chilly mountain nights! We also have a TV in the living room with Roku. Across from the living room in the open kitchen where you will find everything you need to cook a homemade meal, as well as a dining table with seating for 6. Off the kitchen you will find a large deck with stairs to the backyard area. Please note, we share our yard with our neighbors. Absolutely no parties or large groups. The first bathroom on the main floor has a washer and dryer, private bathroom with a shower, and a sauna outside of the private bathroom. We have a Nest thermostat on this floor which controls heat throughout the house. You will also find heat fan panels throughout the house. Half way up the second set of stairs there is a bright bedroom with two twin trundle beds, a seating chair, and a TV with a DVD player. We also have a few DVDs that you can watch during your stay. There is a heat fan wall panel in this room. Up on the second floor, there is a cute and cozy reading nook. Cozy up with a book, enjoy the surrounding trees and the peaceful neighborhood from the large window in the nook. Upstairs there are two additional bedrooms and one bathroom. Both bedrooms have a queen sized bed. They share the bathroom in the middle. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo. Each bedroom has a dresser and a closet. Throughout the home you will find cool art and furniture that we made as well! We hope you enjoy it! OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: Concierge services available through Tahoe Cohost Collective. A Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) and a Truckee Tourism Business Improvement District Tax is included in your reservation fee. This is built directly into your nightly rate at booking. Please note that this rental does require purchasing short term vacation rental insurance for stays up to 29 nights (reservations longer than 29 nights will need to discuss insurance options with Tahoe Cohost Collective prior to booking). The SafelyStay, Inc. Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $10,000 of accidental coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury, if the fee has been paid. The Trust and Safety Fee is refundable only if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date. Any deductible or minimum claim amount will be the responsibility of the Guest, and Tahoe Cohost Collective will process using the form of payment on file for Guest. Please note that living in the mountains and staying in a private home means that there are some things we cannot always control. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are far and few between, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try and accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.
