Welcome to our luxurious cabin nestled in the heart of Cuyahoga National Park! This stunning retreat offers the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience, as it is just a short drive away from the renowned Blossom Music Center and numerous iconic hiking trails. The cabin boasts two beautifully appointed bedrooms, each designed to provide the utmost comfort and relaxation in king beds. Step outside onto the expansive deck, where you'll find breathtaking views of the surrounding forest. This cabin is located within Valley Overlook, a private Lodging and Campground area surrounded by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. During your stay, feel free to walk/hike around the property. Please stay on the road when around the other sites and cabins, and respect the privacy of our other guests. Hike our beautiful trail to a scenic overlook with a beautiful westward across the valley. The trail entrance is on our map, which we will send in a message before check-in. Proper hiking footwear and attire is recommended. This cabin space includes: Bedroom 1: king bed, attached full bathroom Bedroom 2: king bed, attached full bathroom Two full bathrooms (attached to bedrooms) Kitchen with dining area Common area Fire pit Back porch This beautiful cabin is located in Valley Overlook Campground. This cabin is self check-in with parking available on site. If you are traveling with two vehicles, please park the second one in the large lot next to the office located in the large brick building. Visitors and extra guests are not permitted without prior written approval. We're often available on-site. If you don't see us, send us a message! We are located in the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Travel just minutes to many trailheads for hiking and biking, or bring your kayak for a day on the river. Check out local restaurants in the historic village of Peninsula, just 4 miles to our north. Hop on your bike and take the Towpath Trail as far north as Cleveland or south to Akron. Enjoy local restaurants, breweries, farm markets and more! We're a half-mile from the Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail, great for biking to local destinations to the north and south. Free parking is available at many trailheads in the National Park. Street parking in the Village of Peninsula is paid via phone. Ride sharing availability can be limited, so we recommend planning your own transportation. Walking to Blossom Music Center is neither practical nor recommended. The cabin will be ready any time after 4pm. We can sometimes coordinate an early check-in for a fee of $30. If you're interested in this option, please send a message with the time you hope to arrive, and we will let you know if we can accommodate this request. This unit has one parking space right out front. If you are traveling with more than one vehicle, please park in our overflow lot in front of the cabin. On some evenings, concerts at our neighbor, Blossom Music Center may be audible. The farm across the street utilizes propane canons during the day for a few weeks out of the year to deter birds from eating their corn. Firewood is available on-site for $10 per bundle; all payments will be handles through Airbnb. You may notice firewood bundles at your cabin; these are also priced at $10 per bundle if you use them. Firewood is not included in the reservation price. Gathering wood in the forest is not allowed. Bringing firewood from outside is strictly prohibited, and strictly regulated by state and federal authorities. Please do not bring outside wood, as it can transport invasive pests. We have a beautiful trail on-site. You will receive a map before check-in that shows the trailhead. If you plan to venture outdoors at night, you should plan to bring a flashlight, as it can get dark in the woods!
