Cosy Home in Carmarthenshire

Cosy, modern cottage situated in a friendly, quaint village in the heart of West Wales, just a ten minute drive to the market town of Newcastle Emlyn. A good central base for visiting Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and The Brecon Beacons. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a fun break with friends a creative hideout or a family holiday, this beautifully decorated, light and cosy holiday home is ideal for anyone looking to explore the sights of West Wales. The space Colville Place is a modern semi-detached house in the friendly village of Drefach, Felindre. The downstairs area is a light and uniquely decorated open plan kitchen and living room with heated floors, a comfortable seating area and a fully functioning, well- lit and spacious kitchen, dining area and cloakroom. There is an electric fire, excellent Wifi connection and smart T.V. We have also provided a whole load of games (for kids and adults!) under the stairs, for you to make use of during your stay. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The second bedroom usually functions as an office, but has a comfortable sofa bed for 1-2, if there are more than 2 people staying. For parties of 4-6 the downstairs sofa is also a large comfortable sofa bed for 1-2 people that is easy to pull out and put away. We have a small garden with a patio and seating area which gets a nice amount of Sun throughout the day, a nice spot to enjoy your morning coffee or eat some lunch. There is a small private driveway for 1 car around the back of the house and there is also space for cars to park outside the front of the house too. We have an outside socket (13 amp) which can be accessed from the driveway for charging electric cars. Please let us know before arrival if this is something you will need. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to the entire house, garden and driveway. Other things to note The house is within easy walking distance (about 2 minutes) of local shops, a chippy and the very welcoming village pub the John Y Gwas. There is a bus stop opposite the house with regular buses to and from Cardigan and Carmarthen. The house is in a good location for day trips to Cardigan, Carmarthen, Aberystwyth, Pembrokeshire and the Brecon Beacons. There are a number of local beaches in the area and woodland walks too. Including a woodland walk right from the door of the house. The Village of Felindre is also home to the National Woolen Mill, which starts off a lovely circular walking route. Th village of Cenarth (with the lovely Cenarth Falls Walk which is pictured) is about a 15 min drive away and The Michelin Star Pub The Daffodil is only an 8 min drive away- we would definitely recommend them for locally sourced and delicious food!
