Just a stone's throw from the River Thames, this West Putney home is perfect for a London getaway with family or friends. It is surrounded by green, wild, open spaces and parks and is well served by local shops, cafes and pubs. With good transport connections into central London, including the Uber Clipper, it is well positioned for visiting all the popular London destinations. With a modern, clean aesthetic it has everything you need in a high-end living space and family home. The space Entrance Hall Hanging cupboards and space for a pushchair. Snug / Playroom This is at the front of the house and separated from the kitchen by sliding double doors. There is a television, a comfy seating area, and a play area with toys for young children. Kitchen A chef's paradise fitted with 3 Miele ovens (a steam oven, a microwave combination and a 90cm wide conventional oven) on one side, and fridge, a freezer and wine fridge (all full height) on the other. There is a boiling and cold filter tap on the kitchen island/breakfast bar. Dining room The kitchen leads into the dining room, which is in the modern light-filled extension. There is a Danish mid-century table that can fold out to seat 10. We also have a selection of highchairs and toddler seats available. Living room An informal seating area looks straight into the garden. Bifold doors open fully to allow you to enjoy the outside space. Garden A garden kitchen and outdoor seating area allow for fantastic alfresco dining. There is a sandpit and a Wendy house to keep your little ones entertained. Media Room There is a large TV and comfy sofas to enjoy a movie on in the lower ground level. Studio Space I am a designer, so I have a large table and work area. It is a peaceful light-filled workspace with skylights that bring in the light from the garden. Utility room Washer, dryer and warm, clothes hanging area. BEDROOMS First Floor Bed 1 Super King - this is the primary bedroom with an full ensuite bathroom and dressing room. Bed 2 Twin – As this is the room we use for our children, it is currently set up with a cot and a cot bed. This can be changed to two singles for adults or older kids. There is a family bathroom with a bath next door. Second Floor Bed 3 Double – This room has a floor-to-ceiling window that opens onto a flat roof and overlooks the gardens below. There is also a bathroom on this floor with a shower. Bed 4 Queen Size - Top floor bedroom with Velux windows and bathroom (shared with bedroom 3). Lower Ground Floor Bed 5 Queen Size - Lower ground bedroom with light well and high ceilings. Ensuite bathroom. The upstairs bedrooms all have air conditioning, and there is underfloor heating in the ground floor and basement living spaces. Guest access This is a whole property letting, so you will have access to the whole house as a private space. The office shed in the garden will remain locked for our possessions. Other things to note This is our family home, and we have a 1 and 3-year-old. Therefore we have all the usual items that would be needed for children in this age range, including high chairs, appropriate cutlery etc. If you are bringing children, please do ask for anything that you might require during your stay, and we will do our best to provide it. If you are coming as an adult group, please do let us know, and we will ensure that all children-related items are put away. WIFI is available throughout the house.
