Family Getaway Eden on the River

Leave the hustle and bustle behind, get back to nature and relax. This spacious three bedroom house is nestled in acres of tropical gardens and situated on the stunning Rentapau River. Get complimentary access to the river and enjoy a different activity each day, our Bridges of Eden, slow Cooking Class or Kava Experience. Daily housekeeping, laundry and nanny service included! The space The Family House is tucked away in a private corner of the stunning property of Eden on the River, South Efaté's premier tourism attraction. Totally off-grid, the house is very tropical and open, three generously sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bathrooms are indoor/outdoor, attached to the main house and walled in for privacy, but with stunning open gardens, a truly nature immersive experience. There's a full kitchen and laundry for your convenience and longer stays. We are truly off grid here, although we do offer WIFI. All windows have louvres, however the house is not screened. We do provide mosquito coils and Aeroguard. Guest access You will have full access to the house and surrounding property, including access to the river for swimming. Please note that the house is not fenced and small children will need close supervision at all times. Although access to the river is not that easy, there is always a risk if children are not supervised. Other things to note Dogs: Please be aware that there are very friendly dogs on site who will likely want to share your space and make extra friends, they are used to being inside. Please inform us ahead of time if this will be an issue for you and we can ensure the dogs Power: Please be advised that our power is supplied by our property's solar plant and as such we limit the use of power hungry appliances such as hair dryers & straighteners. Water: We pump our own water from an underground river. Plastic: There is NO plastic recycling in Vanuatu, we ask that you seriously consider your use of plastic bottles as these only end up in landfill or the ocean. Our café does not supply bottled water, however there is a water purifier in the house. Connectivity: We cannot control the reliability of service provided for the internet OR mobile phone service. There is very limited access to mobile phone networks.
