You will be free to explore this beautiful area that has so much to offer. Whether it's for activities such as fishing, hiking, snowmobiling in winter or just lounging on the public beach just minutes away on foot or going to the zoo, you'll be delighted. Chalet Leurre Doré awaits you! The space The cottage includes large bay windows that allow you to admire the lake in front of you. You will be in comfort thanks to these living spaces just big enough to accommodate your family or friends. The open plan area includes the living room - flat screen TV and electric fireplace -, dining room and kitchen very well equipped. Cook your harvest of the day - golden or ouananiche - on the BBQ while your guests enjoy the fireground in front of the lake. A dining area is also provided so you can enjoy good meals outdoors while enjoying the view. The interior space includes two bedrooms with queen beds, for a maximum of 4 people. The first bedroom is on the mezzanine, an open-plan space accessible by a very steep staircase — so caution is advised. In summer, a small outdoor pavilion can accommodate two additional people thanks to a double bed. However, space is limited and this option is only available during the summer months. You will find a full bathroom on site - including washer/dryer If children are coming with you, we recommend that you keep an eye on them. The cottage is close to the water and the land does not descend gently towards the lake; it is rather a stone wall a few feet high from which it is possible to fall if one is not vigilant. Swim at the public beach just a few minutes walk away or enjoy the stairs to the water, directly in front of the cottage! It will also be the place where you can have access to the lake with your boats for fishing or any other nautical activity. We hope you enjoy your stay! Guest access You will have access to the cottage, the lot and the pavilion in summer. You will find grocery stores, pharmacies, SAQ, restaurants in Dolbeau and St-Félicien 20 minutes from one side of the road or the other! In Saint-Méthode - 10 minutes from the chalet - there is a convenience store-bakery that also sells petrol. You can walk to the beach and drive to the other main attractions and activities.
