Situated in an idyllic setting just a few minutes' walk from the village pub, post office and shop, it is a short hop in the car to some of Norfolk's finest Blue Flag beaches. Sleeping six people, this character cottage has been styled with quality, modern fixtures, fittings and appliances. At Homestead, you enter in to a well-equipped kitchen/diner with an Aga and electric oven, and with doors spilling on to the outside eating area - a winning location as the late afternoon sun slips into dusk and evening and the up lighting comes in to play. There is a selection of board games, books and DVDs for guest enclosed, sunny garden has a fantastic decked area with a bar (with a table and bar stools, fridge and mood lighting) table tennis table, swing and garden games. The property has a snug (as well as a sitting room/ formal dining area with a cosy wood burning stove) so it is easy entertain differing ages of guests in different parts of the house. The first floor has three bedrooms: two with king-size beds and one with a king-size zip and link, which can be made up in to two 2'6 single beds on request. Homestead offers the opportunity to spend quality time away together in a superb cottage in a fabulous location. You can explore picture-perfect, brick and flint, seaside villages and towns, walk and cycle around country lanes, or simply pack a picnic full of fabulous local produce and while away the day on the beach. The Norfolk Broads are easily reachable by car, making this Norfolk hideaway ideal any time of the year. Homestead is also available as a sleeps 10 option including Black Cat Barn, a beautiful independent barn conversion, listed as Homestead and Black Cat Barn. Additional Information: Three well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). A refundable deposit of £50 will be applied when booking this property. Synthetic bedding provided. Travel cot and high chair available on request. Please bring your own linen for the travel cot. Guest access Ground Floor: Large entrance into Kitchen/ breakfast room With Aga, electric oven, induction hob, microwave, cafetiere, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher and washer/ dryer and table with seating for ten guests. (There are additional chairs in the dining room if the house is at a full capacity of ten). There are doors leading to the garden and outdoor eating area. Snug With Smart television and ornamental fireplace. Wet room With rain forest shower, wash basin and WC. Sitting room/ dining area With a Smart television, wood burning stove and dining table with seating for six guests. First Floor: Master bedroom With a 5' king-size bed. Bedroom two With a 5' king-size bed. Bedroom three With a 5' king-size zip and link bed, which can be made in to 2'6 twin beds on request, and a television for DVDs. Family bathroom With a bath, walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. Outside: Secure enclosed large garden to the rear (hedge and chickenwire) with garden furniture and a chiminea (with a plinth for a disposable barbecue), table tennis table, a swing, garden games, a drinks bar with table and bar stools, fridge and mood lighting. Off-street parking for three cars. Additional free parking is available at the village hall, only a one minute walk away.
