Bear Cabin -fully stocked kitchen (new shower)

Conveniently located in Carnelian Bay, between Tahoe City and Kings Beach, you’ll have easy access to Northstar, Alpine Meadows and Palisades Ski Resorts!. Plenty of room on the property to play in the snow or find sledding hills in the neighborhood. The space This is a family cabin where our kids and grandchildren have all spent time enjoying holidays, summers or winter vacations together. For the first time, we are sharing this special place with guests. As noted above, this is a family cabin with personal touches and an affinity to bears. In fact, the kids always try to guess how many bears are actually located in the cabin. Fun fact: no one actually knows but it's a lot. :-) Guest access Guests will have access to all aspect of the cabin, minus an owners closet. Other things to note Housebroken dog with a non refundable pet fee. Please do not leave your dog alone in the cabin. Winter conditions can change quickly so please make sure you are prepared and check road reports. During big storms power outages do occur and roads will close due to inability to access. It is not uncommon to get multiple feet of snow in less than 24 hrs, causing white out conditions, dangerous roads. We pay for plow service and try to keep up with deck clearing but perfection is impossible so please use extreme caution. The two showers are sparkling clean, but one has not been updated. The washer and dryer are both very clean, but are not brand new. One broken recliner has been replaced. The second one hasn’t yet. Tahoe creatures are all very active!
