The guest suite is located on the top floor of a single-family home in a sunny meadow in Girdwood. The private suite offers breathtaking views of Girdwood’s hanging glaciers while providing easy access to local eating establishments and the area’s many recreational activities. The Girdwood brewery and free town shuttle are a short walk or XC ski from the back of the property. The space Entry to the home is shared with the hosts. The suite itself is private with a door that can be locked from both the inside and outside. The suite contains a living room, kitchenette, dining area, bathroom, private bedroom, and sleeping loft. Two queen beds, a full-size convertible sofa bed, and two twin-size convertible ottomans provide flexible sleeping options. The kitchenette has a sink, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, electric kettle, coffee, cocoa, and a large selection of teas. The dining area has a full-size table and 4 dining chairs. The living room has a gas fireplace, couch, loveseat, large screen TV, and many DVDs and games to choose from. Guest access Access to the guest suite is through an entry and staircase that is shared with the hosts. The staircase is adjacent to the host living space. It is the guests’ choice as to how much interaction they have with the hosts. Guests will be provided with a code to the front door’s digital keypad for easy in/out access. Please note: Guests must climb up 2 flights of stairs to access the guest suite. During your stay The hosts are very outgoing and love to share insider information about the many things to do in and around the Kenai Penisula. They are also happy to share BBQ, fire pit, and laundry areas with their guests. It is the guests' choice as to how much interaction to have with the hosts. Other things to note The hosts have two friendly dogs. We believe pets are an integral part of any family so we welcome up to two dogs in the guest suite. A dog bed can be provided with advance notice. Pet sitting services for an additional fee may be available with advanced notice and sitter availability.
