Beautiful, quiet, private & serene barn apartment (built in 2021) with country views of the Texas sunrise & sunset from the patio. Secure & Safe!! Located away from all the hotels! Farmhouse look/feel. Great WiFi, abundant driveway parking (oversized parking available) and a wraparound corner patio. Close to I-40 (3 miles), yet far enough away that it doesn't feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Less than 10 minutes from Amarillo where all the amenities of “city life” are available. The space The kitchen offers abundant cabinet space that is well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, and additional amenities that may be needed during your stay. There are granite counter tops, a front apron porcelain farm sink, 3 rack dishwasher, microwave, double oven & refrigerator with ice maker. The kitchen also has a granite bar top, with two bar stools, and a large window to watch the sunset and possibly even catch a peek of some wildlife. Additionally, there is a center island with a granite top for food prep that contains a pull-out trash can. The bathroom is adequately sized. It includes a nice sized shower and is furnished with oversized plush towels. The bathroom area also boasts a full-size high efficiency washer & dryer in order to keep ahead of the laundry while you are traveling. The bedroom has a lovely farmhouse feel and offers a queen size memory foam bed with ample plush bedding & a variety of pillows. There are nightstands with lamps on each side of the bed. There is a 55" Smart Wi-Fi TV mounted on the wall with an articulating mount and DVD player. The TV has all the local channels & Netflix. There is a desk with a work area for a laptop or conducting business. You can also enjoy the sofa for relaxing or watching a movie. Outside there is a wraparound (corner) patio with a propane grill and a propane fire pit. This is the place to grab a Texas sunrise or sunset, enjoy the peace and quiet, and have a morning coffee or evening drink that only a country setting can provide. Enjoy the occasional moo’s from the cows across the street and the sunset howls from the nearby coyotes. Keep an eye out for the chance to see a mule deer or one of the resident roadrunners. Far enough away from I-40 that the traffic can't be heard, yet close enough that it doesn't feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The barn apartment is located adjacent to our main residence but provides its own privacy and is hidden from view from the main residence. Oversize parking (RV, U-Haul, Trailer, etc.) may be available on-site. If more than 2 parking spaces are needed, please inquire prior to booking. Much safer & more secure than any hotel in town! Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging is located on-site utilizing a 240V - 40A Lectron Level 2 EV Charger. This EV Charger is J1772 & Tesla compatible. No Smoking, No Parties, No Pets, & No Illegal Drug Use/Activities! Any violation of this policy is subject to a minimum fine of $250. Tampering with, altering or disconnecting any Wi-Fi device or security camera is grounds for immediate removal from the property. No refunds will be given, and additional penalties may apply. There are outdoor security cameras surrounding the property. These are installed for the security of the property, as well as the guests. Renters have access to the barn apartment and both barn patios only. There is no access to the inside shop area of the barn. Guest access Abundant driveway parking! Guests have access to the barn apartment, and both attached patios to the barn. Common, unfenced areas outside are accessible & useable. The barn shop portion is the owners and unusable by guests. Other things to note This Airbnb apartment was designed specifically with you, the guest, in mind and at the forefront of all the thoughts behind the design and even the contents within the apartment. It was designed for true enjoyment, whether saying one night or a month!
