If you are allergic to pets this is not the place for you. - introduce your children to the country, or a family get-together. -The dishes, sheets, and furniture are all mismatched, but clean and cozy. If you are looking for a quiet cabin in the woods where the forest breeze blows through the rooms, you have found it. - We DO NOT HAVE AC 25min from Hanover, NH 10min from Lake Fairlee 10min from Crossroad Farm The space The cabin is nestled under tall maple trees, built on a rocky ledge and surrounded by ferns and forest plants. The lawn is not always mowed, but the birds are always singing. There is a sloped lawn with gardens and a small fishing pond. Feel free to explore the forest surrounding the area. Try mountain biking on the dirt roads, or go for a nice hike on the Rivendell Trail to Flag Pole Hill. Crossroad Farm is an amazing local farmstand that is always worth a visit. If you don't feel like making dinner, Baker's General Store has a deli with some tasty options as well as ice cream. Some important information There is NO AC You MUST be able to climb a few stairs as the cabin is multi level. As the cabin is located on a hill it is important to be able to walk a few steps uphill. If you have questions, please message us. Guest access One or two members of the family will be staying in the apartment above the garage. However, all guest will have full and private use of the entire cabin with the exception of the attic storeroom. Other things to note We don't have cell phone coverage, however if you enable your phone for wifi calling this works well. There is a landline but you can only call in the very local area. It is also possible to call 911 and people may call in on this line. When reaching our house somtimes maps will send you the wrong way. Our cabin is only reachable by comming in from route 113.
