Bijou Niesen – A getaway with a view over the lake

Our “Bijou Niesenblick” is located in an old, typical Swiss chalet on 2 floors. The space The apartment has one bedroom with a double bed upstairs and another small bedroom (on request) with 2 single beds. The apartment can accommodate 3-4 people (additional costs from the 3rd person). In the basement is the living room with a cozy sofa and two armchairs so you can rest and relax in front of the great fireplace. The kitchen is authentic and practically equipped. The dining table can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. On the mezzanine floor you will find a renovated, beautiful bathroom with a spacious shower. From the living room and bedroom you have direct access to a balcony. Here you have a breathtaking view of Lake Thun and the surrounding mountains. The chalet (former double farmhouse) was built in the 17th century and later added to and rebuilt. It's an older apartment. Guest access Free public parking is available on the opposite side of the street or a few meters above the apartment. The apartment is accessible only via an external staircase. The apartment is divided into two floors: in the lower part is the kitchen, living room and bathroom. The two bedrooms are located on the upper floor. The lower and upper part of the building is private. We ask you to respect this. Thank you! :) Other things to note ** GOOD TO KNOW ** ** We ask that you provide accurate information on the number of people traveling. From the 3rd person, the price increases accordingly. For an occupancy of 2 people, not all bedrooms are accessible, as the price is reduced accordingly. Please let us know if you need the extra room, ** Unfortunately, we cannot provide a washing machine. ** There is no air conditioning in the apartment. For hot days, however, there are various fans ready for you to make it as comfortable as possible. ** Unfortunately, luggage storage before and after check-out is not possible. ** 🚿 Note on bathroom use Please make sure that no water gets on the floor outside the shower area. Our bathrooms are not designed to have water running over the floor. Be sure not to install your own hoses or attachments – this is not allowed and will automatically result in the guest being charged for any damage. If water spills, please wipe up immediately to avoid damage. Note: Damage due to improper use (e.g. flooding, water damage to floors or furniture and unauthorized installations) will be charged to you in full. ** 🐞 Note on insects – nature included 💚 Our apartments are located in some of the most beautiful natural regions of Switzerland – on the lake, in the mountains or surrounded by greenery. With this special location, it can happen from time to time that small visitors from nature also show up. ☀️ Despite thorough and regular cleaning, insects such as mosquitoes, spiders or beetles can get into the apartment – especially in summer or when windows are open. For your convenience, we provide insect spray and, where possible, fly screens. Please note: This is not a sign of lack of cleanliness, but simply part of having nature right outside the door. 🌿 If you love nature, you will feel comfortable with us.
