Snowdonia cottage - close to sea and mountains

Pet friendly cottage in Southern Snowdonia. You'll have a great time at this comfortable place to stay. Inglenook fireplace, all self contained. Lots of off the beaten track walks from the door. See Portmeirion from the upstairs bedroom. Lots to do in nearby Porthmadog, shopping, black rock sands, leisure centre, beautiful harbour and famous mountain railway. Great base for day trips to Criccieth, Abersoch, Barmouth, Pwllheli, Coed y Brenin, Snowdon and Anglesey. Dogs love the nearby beaches! The space This is a 2 bed miners cottage, it's built around 1890 and has some of the original features, but is otherwise fully modernised. It has two bedrooms, one has a double bed, the other a single bed. There is a small courtyard garden with table and chairs and a lovely rock behind the cottage. Guest access All the property is available, independent house not located in a compound with other properties or a farm! Other things to note The cottage is in a small village where you can get around by car, bus or train. Pub 200 yds away great food and drink. Near costal path, beautiful Estuary with views to Portmeirion, beach 10 minutes in car, or 40 mins walk. Great base for walking, mountain biking, plenty if you want to visit attractions nearby, but it's a little haven for chilling at any time of year. Larger supermarkets in Porthmadog or Blaenau Ffestiniog. Please note, there is a shower attachment on the bath to help with hair washing, so it’s not a full shower and not to be used as such to prevent water damage.
