The Blue Beach House: Main House

The Blue Beach House is a bright and spacious property decorated in a blue and white coastal theme. In a peaceful neighborhood comprising of mostly holiday homes, it has views of the river 50 meters away. A wide deck with a braai envelopes the living area on two sides. The unlimited fibre internet means the house is great for home working. The garden is enclosed and ideal for kids. Outdoors you can choose between the river walk, calm river beach, rock pools, coastal walk or several beaches. The space The Main house sleeps 8 including infants, however we do allow an additional guest for a fee if there are infants in your party. The Main House offers four spacious bedrooms with large north-facing windows on three of the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has a double bed, and the third and fourth bedrooms have twin beds. The family bathroom has a shower, bath, washing machine, and toilet; and there is an additional separate toilet. The living area is open plan with a large kitchen island, lounge area, and dining table. The kitchen includes a family sized fridge, drinks fridge, full-size oven, microwave, dishwasher and airfryer A wood-burning fireplace is located in the corner of the lounge for chilly winter evenings. There is a large smart TV with Android TV box and unlimited fibre internet which offers a strong signal throughout the house. A large deck with barbecue facilities envelopes the house, ensuring the best views of the river, Still Bay East, and the sea. In addition, there are two double garages, a large driveway, and a lawned, enclosed garden that offers shady areas throughout the day. There are rechargeable lights and light bulbs for use during loadshedding. Guest access The entire Main house and garden is yours including the spacious driveway. Please note the garages are currently excluded. The Garden Cottage which sleeps 4 people is located across the garden and is available for rentals. The Annex, offering basic accommodation, is located below the house. It is available by arrangement for an additional fee. It has three single beds, a bathroom and a lounge area. Other things to note There is a kiddie table with four chairs, camping cot and high-chair that can be placed in the house. Two large wooden puzzle boards can be found in bedroom 4 for easy puzzle building. Please bring a paddle if you would like to use the kayak. Out of season, there is no traffic on our road so the kids can play or use their skateboards in the street while the adults watch from the deck with a sundowner. If you wish to bring a pet, the fee is R150 pn (and I will close bookings for pets in the other unit, namely the Garden Cottage, for the duration of your stay.)
