The guest house is located on the outskirts of Zalaszántó with a panoramic view of the valley. It is an ideal choice for our guests who want to retreat, relax, hike or do sports, also for those who are attracted by the diversity of the Keszthely Mountains, and those who love nature, this place can offer excellent relaxation and rejuvenation. The space This small cottage is located in a natural environment with clean air. It can be an ideal choice for hiking, go to Lake Balaton and thermal bathing, as the healing warm water lake of Hévíz and the Balaton beaches can be reached in a comfortable 15-20-minutes drive, and the varied hiking trails, including the national blue trail, start within a 5-minute walk. The Buddhist sanctuary of the Peace Stupa is a 20-minute walk away, the parking lot of Tátika Castle is 5 minutes away by car, and Sümeg Castle can be reached in just 15 minutes. The guest house is located 1500m from the inland part of Zalaszántó, but it can be easily and safely reached by car on a well-maintained gravel road. Parking is available in the estate's closed gravel yard. The comfort of the guests is served by the ground floor part of the fully comfortable house, where there is a room/living room, a bathroom with toilet, shower and washing machine, as well as a well-equipped kitchen with dishes, plates, coffee maker, electric water heater, toaster, electric stove, oven, large combi fridge equipped kitchen suitable for cooking. The building is not air-conditioned, but thanks to the stone walls and the green environment, it provides a pleasant indoor temperature even in summer. The windows are equipped with mosquito nets. Furthermore, despite the fact that the house lies in the gentle lap of nature, a reliable 4G internet (WiFi) connection is available to guests. Courtyard: provides a beautiful view while enjoying a delicious drink, coffee or meal. A sun lounger awaits sun worshippers, and the shade of a walnut tree awaits those who want to chill and read. A stone built fire pit is also available to guests. We own the small neighboring cottage, that can also be seen in the pictures. The neighbour on the other side are an elderly couple, they stay there often during warm season and they are very nice. Small dog-friendly accommodation. We can accommodate guests with small dogs. Neither the indoor nor the outdoor part of the guest house is suitable for larger dogs. We would like to ask the owners to be kind enough to comply with the basic hygiene requirements regarding pets, for example cleaning up dog waste from the yard or cleaning muddy paws before entering the house. Thank You! The house is not suitable for a party venue. In Zalaszántó, in addition to the attractions of the Gingerbread Museum and the Kotsy water mill, there are also grocery stores, a restaurant, a pharmacy and a post office.
