The space Once upon a time, nestled on the island of Otrøya, there stood a family cabin that held within its walls a wealth of stories and memories. This charming place welcomed guests to experience the magic of Midsund. As you walked in, a sense of timelessness embraced you. The gentle creak of the rustic flooring whispered tales of the past. The low doors, a nod to a bygone era, invited you to enter a world where traditional Norwegian craftsmanship met modern comforts. Surrounded by greenery and majestic mountains, the cabin offered a retreat from daily life. The serene outdoor area beckoned you to unwind, where you could bask in the serenity of nature and enjoy the majestic mountain views. Venturing beyond the cabin's cozy embrace, a world of adventure awaited. Midsund unveiled its extraordinary treasures, and its possibilities for exploring the island's captivating landscapes. For those captivated by the ocean, a short drive made for the opportunity to relax on the mesmerizing beaches of Sandane. Here, the shoreline and the open sea offered opportunities for both relaxation and activities. For a tranquil retreat in nature's embrace, one can visit the island's largest freshwater lake Holsvatnet. Here you can cast your line into its pristine waters, and chase the excitement of reeling in a prized trout. Above those waters, you can find majestic mountains and trails. As seen on National Geographic Channel, "Midsundtrappene", was crafted by skilled sherpas from Nepal. These trails promised breathtaking views and a hidden park where hammocks swayed gently atop the peaks, providing a sanctuary for rest and rejuvenation. Back at the cabin, you can after a long and joyful day sip your wine, while sharing your laughter and stories, playing boardgames, or maybe watching a movie with fire in the fireplace. The annex has got 4 beds + sofa in two different rooms, and will be made available for groups larger than 6 persons or for an extra fee.
