Perfect place for an adventure in the desert or relaxing time. Our one bedroom apartment sleeps 2 people comfortably, but due to high demand on festival weekends we are allowing up to 4 registered guests with additional fee. We encourage you to bring air mattress and extra blankets and pillows as needed. The space One bedroom, Two bath apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. This unit is part of a three-unit complex. Located 4miles from town, 1/2 mile dirt road to get to the property. Please note that the soaking tub is not a hot tub. We do have hot water from the top, but it does not have a heater or jets. Sleeping Arrangements: One King size bed in bedroom. The living room has a custom built day bed that can sleep one when needed. Futon Sofa in nook tucked away towards the back of the unit. * 50 inch TV in living room for streaming (no cable) * Brand new kitchen, with stove top and all new stainless steel appliances * Highspeed Internet *20 min to Palm Springs, 50 min to Joshua Tree *Parking for One Vehicle, Inside our private gated complex *Fully Stocked with basic essentials, hotel quality linens, plush towels, shampoo, lotion, soap, coffee, salt, pepper, cooking oil. ********PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION INCLUDING THE "Other things to note" SECTION PRIOR TO BOOKING.******* Guest access You will have full and private use of the inside of the apartment. The courtyard outside is considered a shared space. We have a hammock, and mineral water ( not heated ) soaking tubs for summer use, a fire pit, BBQ Grill(Guest must do their own cleanup) and bean bag toss game that are all shared spaces. Other things to note * A short 1/4 mile stretch on a dirt road to access the property. *Large iron gate must be opened manually to enter the property and park inside. * Because of remote location, there might be occasional coyotes and dogs barking. Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise at night. *This is indeed the desert. Dust and critters are part of the package. The place will be professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. We don’t have too many critter invaders but you could if the doors are kept open. Be mindful of your surroundings when walking outside, specially in the warmer months. You may occasionally spot or hear some wildlife, bugs, rabbits, desert rats, dogs, scorpions, snakes, coyotes. *We recommend you bring bottled water. The property has a private well safe to use and consume. However, well water may look, taste, and smell differently than water from a city home. *Soaking Tubs run on mineral water and do not have heaters to keep water warm. They are intended to help cool off during summer months Only but is available year round. Per City ordinance we must keep volume levels low and have a noise monitoring device in the home. This device reads the noise level in decibel format. To be clear the noise monitoring does NOT record any conversations. Due to strict city ordinance, we strictly enforce the NO parties or gathering policy. The ordinance also states that: "No outdoor music, radios, musical instruments or other devices that produce or reproduce sound shall be allowed to be used outdoors at any time." Please be considerate of our neighbors. ******BBQ grill available for use. Guests will be responsible to clean up after using the grill. We will charge an additional cleanup fee if cleanup was not done *****
