Description

'Inside, The Village' is a "village within a village." It consists of 5 old wooden houses, relocated from Maramures. They are designed to provide guests with a second home, privacy and comfort. These houses are crafted to allow guests to enjoy the experience of staying in a home built with natural materials, warming themselves by the stove, dining on local organic produce, and connecting with nature, with their roots, and most importantly, with themselves. "Take a step inside yourself!" The space Our two bedroom traditional cottage consists of two open-space lofts, each with its own entrance, and a shared terrace and outdoor space. It is perfect for groups of friends, families, or anyone who wants to spend time with their loved ones while maintaining their privacy. It can accommodate a maximum of 6 people, with two master bedrooms featuring king-size beds, a sofa that can be used as a single bed, and upon request, we can provide an extra bed or a crib for babies. The cottage has 2 bathrooms, one in each loft. On the ground floor of the first loft, you will find a living room, a small open kitchen, and the centrepiece, a clay fireplace manually crafted by a ceramic artist, that also warms the bed adjacent to it when the fireplace is on. . Upstairs, there is an open bedroom with a king-size bed. The bathroom is also located upstairs and features a unique design, painted in white, with the shower cabin resembling a small room where you can enjoy an immersive shower experience. On the ground floor of the second loft, you will find a spacious living room, a small open kitchen, another manually crafted stove, and the ground-floor sofa which although not extendable, it is spacious enough to accommodate another person or even a child. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor and is generously sized, including a spacious bathtub perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and a book after a day spent in nature. Upstairs, there is an open bedroom with a king-size bed. Each loft has a kitchen. Although small, they are equipped with everything necessary for meal preparation. In each kitchen, you will find an electric stove, a kettle, a sink, a toaster, and a small fridge. The kitchen is also stocked with essentials like pots and pans, cutlery, olive oil, spices, salt, and pepper, etc. All of our homes include organic and eco-friendly toiletries, as well as cotton bedding and towels. The house also features an outdoor space: a spacious terrace overlooking the beautiful green hills, where you also have an outdoor dining area, so you can enjoy the view with your meal. There is also a private yard where you can have a picnic, sit and read, or simply enjoy the fresh air or relax in the hammock. Our concept is that every guest rents a home that they can treat as they would their own. You have full exclusive access to your home, as well as the closed circuit garden and porch/terrace, which is for you to enjoy and will allow you to spend your time as you wish without being disturbed. Guest access You will have full exclusive access to your house, including the outdoor space such as the terrace and garden. You will always have access to the rest of the property, where you can just hang out or walk around, since the property is only for our guests. Other things to note Our homes, beautiful and charming as they are, would not be the same if they were newly built. Their uniqueness and character comes from the fact that they are built from old wood and that they are in every aspect, a traditional home, restored to fit our every day comfort while still capturing the roots and origins of our culture. For this reason, it's important to remember that you will not find here the same level of comfort as you would in a typical hotel or city apartment. Part of the beauty of the experience of staying in our homes is the rural location, but this means that you may come across insects, dust, wild animals or anything else that you can naturally find in the countryside.
