The best short-term rental in Marble! The space There are three spacious bedrooms, each with its own attached full bathroom. The two upper Bedrooms, each have two comfy king mattresses, and one has a bunk bed as well. The other upper bedroom has a 70" flat screen TV, in lieu of the bunks. The upstairs bathrooms are with oversized tiled showers with endless hot water. Both upper bedrooms have ample closet space with hangers and suitcase holders. The lower bedroom has a queen and bunkbed with access directly to the deck and also a washer and dryer in the attached bathroom as well as a walk-in closet. The kitchen has everything you will need for food preparation with plenty of counter space. There are enough dishes, wine glasses, silverware for a group of 14 people or more. The chef in your group will love the Viking range and built in refrigerator and microwave. It has a dishwasher and Farmhouse sink. The living room has an 87" smart TV with Netflix, ESPN+, Disney +, Prime, Hulu and a variety of other streaming services. There are two full size couches, a love seat and comfy chair as well as a small nook table and chairs. You'll be distracted from the big TV by the amazing views! There is enough dining space to seat 15 people, the main table just off the kitchen offers seating for 8, a peninsula bar offers another spot for 4 and a nook table offering 3 more spots. The deck offers some of the most amazing mountain views you could imagine. Truly a spot you will enjoy immensely. There are 4 tables, chairs, and a propane grill with grill tools. UTV available for rent. Guest access You'll have access to all of the house but the basement, which is used for storage. The property is over an acre, but sits adjacent to federal forest to the north, meaning you can hike as far to north as you would like and never infringe on private property. For you adventurers, it's a tough climb, but once you get the well established deer and elk trails, its amazing. Marble offers amazing trails, parks throughout the valley and throughout the lead king basin and if your around for the summer months, you can actually make it all the way to Crested Butte by ATV, 4 wheel drive, or hiking. Other things to note Marble is amazing all year around, but winters can be harsh. The property driveway is steep by even by mountain standards. This can make it difficult, if not impossible to ascend and descend, especially during or directly after a snowstorm or when it is muddy, which means, you may have to hike several hundred feet up the steep embankment to access at time. It is rare but possible. This is not a good property for those with physical disabilities. 4-wheel drive is an absolute must during the winter months and highly recommended all year around. The gravel/dirt road leading from the highway to home is rough and narrow but is maintained year around. It's about 1 mile of this gravel road to the house from the paved road. Again, just to access the home in the winter, you will need 4-wheel drive. The house has well water that is quadruple filtered and has a hydrogen peroxide injection system to eliminate sulfur smell (a gas) from the water. Although incredibly effective, it is possible that you may notice a slight sulphury smell from the water, most likely during a hot shower. If you are particular about your drinking water, you may want to bring your own. Marble is a very remote. One of the many reasons people are drawn to it. The nearest gas station or grocery store is in Carbondale, about 35 minutes away, so be sure to stock up on groceries and essentials, although the drive to Carbondale is absolutely beautiful.
