Apartment at the Black Gate

Apartment at the Black Gate is a fully furnished flat (62m2) in the very center of Kłodzko Old Town. It is a magical place for couples (2+1) seeking a romantic getaway or those who are wanting to relax and unwind after a day exploring the region. Located on the second floor, the building dates back to 1576 and is listed as a historical monument. The apartment is equipped with everything you may neet to enjoy your stay. Zabytkowy Apartament 1576 is situated in Kłodzko, 35 km from Kudowa Z. The space Apartment at the Black Gate is a feast for antique lovers. Attention has been paid to every detail. From drinking cups to the lighting, our aim was to invoke the spirit of a bygone era when life was slower and the surrounding objects had a soul. From the living room the baroque gates of the historic church of the old town can be viewed. Unlike other places of worship, the neighbouring church doesn’t use bells and Kościelna Street is very quiet ensuring a peaceful stay. Premium bedding and exclusive linens are provided in the bedroom with a Queen sized bed for guests (160x200cm). A third bed is also available for stays with 3 guests. A full kitchen is provided to enjoy meals within the apartment. In the morning guests can enjoy their coffee in antique cups rather than mugs. When restoring the apartment, the original ribbing of the walls were exposed, the so-called Prussian wall from 1576, which gives the place an amazing atmosphere. The historic feel was continued when selecting furnishings and items available for use by guests during their stay. Guests can relax on the original Chesterfield lounge and enjoy the ambience of stylish French and Italian furniture. Modern conveniences have also been included for your comfort. Free WiFi is available and a Smart TV to use your movie platforms with your own account is provided. Apartment is one of a kind in Kłodzko and we believe, that our guests will come back to us. Parking for guests is available within 100 meters of the apartment. Guest access The whole apartment is at the disposal of our guests. Other things to note The shortest way to the Apartament at the Black Gate leads from the free parking at the end of Zawisza Czarny Street. Taking steps to your left to get to the back of the church and then walking to the right side of the church wall will take you directly to the house gate. You can also drive up to the building from Wojska Polskiego Street (where on the pedestrian zone sign you can find a phone number to seek Local Guard approval to get to the building for unloading your suitcases.) Our apartment is located on the second floor. The stairs, as it is a very old building are quite narrow and steep. The emblems on the staircase dating back to 1576, the year of erection of the building and the date of 1879 with the merchant's name. A Neugebauer who added the final floor and changed the facade to classical are worth noticing when walking up to the apartment. Soon the hall and the staircase will undergo the renovation, once we obtain all necesarry permits from the conservation department. Guests will be notify in advance if works are sceduled.
