The space The Octavius wing of Crackenthorpe Hall is a sumptuous self contained Victorian country mansion house. The heart of the property is the grand Great Hall, measuring 34ft x 25 ft and double height, topped by a huge skylight, this space is flooded with light. Also on the ground floor is the 43 ft Drawing Room with 85 inch hi def TV, a games and trophy room with pool table and table football decorated with historic trophies, the sumptuous dining room with table seating 18 guests, a modern fitted kitchen and men's and ladies cloakrooms with shower. There are 4 double bedrooms, two bathrooms and one en suite shower room accessed from the first floor balcony of the Great Hall's magnificent, cantilevered oak staircase. The Isinglass suite, which comprises two interconnected double bedrooms and an en suite shower room is accessed from the mezzanine level is ideal for a family with children. The bedrooms are individually decorated in unique styles reflecting the history of the property but with Oriental touches. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire, self contained Octavius wing and access to the grounds of Crackenthorpe Hall, including access to 400m of single bank fishing rights on the RIver Eden.
