Newtons Corner is a beautiful and secluded 2-bed Barn Conversion with stunning panoramic country views. Relax in the wood-fired hot tub (with bubble spa) and enjoy the view! A 10 mins walk to the main entrance of Donington Park Race Circuit, this is the ideal luxury stay if attending a racing event. You are welcome to walk in the surrounding woodlands and fields, which belong to your hosts, the Donington Estate. Located minutes from the historic market town of Melbourne, Derbyshire. The space Newtons Corner comprises: Master bedroom with King sized bed Second bedroom with Three Quarter (small) Double bed. 2 Bathrooms: one with shower and one with bath-shower. Open plan living space with a log burner and smart TV. A large modern kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and dining table. Large utility area for muddy boots, complete with washing machine. Very large south-facing lawn (0.3 acres), fully fenced (good for containing dogs). Wood-fired Hot Tub (5 people) with bubble spa and lights, logs and full instructions provided. Plenty of parking space. Newtons Corner is kept cosy all year round with underfloor heating. We provide enough logs for using the Hot Tub throughout your stay. If you would like to use the indoor Log Burner too (not necessary to heat the building) then you must bring your own kiln-dried logs and kindling please. Please note the driveway is a farm track and not suitable for sports cars/cars with a low wheel base. Guest access You will have the entire of Newtons Corner to yourself, including the outdoors space. Your only neighbours will be the sheep! Self check-in via keybox and instructions sent pre-arrival, with help at hand nearby if required. Please note, we do not recommend arrival via taxi due to the rural location. Other things to note We advertise Newtons Corner as sleeping 3 people. The three-quarter bed is best for 1 person. It can sleep 2 children or 2 adults at a push - but we don't recommend it. A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are welcome, but are not allowed on sofas and beds, and we ask that muddy paws are thoroughly cleaned after walks. We do not allow puppies (until fully house trained and not chewing). We do not allow cats due to allergy risk, sorry. We do not welcome stag or hen dos and do not allow parties, sorry! Note the driveway is a farm track and not suitable for sports cars/cars with a low wheel base or arrival via taxi. The property is under the flightpath of East Midlands airport. The house is very well insulated but you will hear some aircraft noise. Planes can go through the night - if you are a particularly light sleeper this might not be the property for you. Highchair at the property. Travel cot available on request at no extra cost. We provide logs, kindling and fire lighters for the Hot Tub. We do not provide any of the indoor log burner, as the property is well insulated and there is underfloor heating throughout. If you wish to use the indoor log burner (as well as the hot tub) please bring kiln-dried logs and kindling.
