The ceiling of Humletorp Farm

Welcome to Loftet, a unique house for 4 renovated from one of the original barns of the property. When sitting at the front, you can look out across the lake when taking meals, whether in sunshine or snow; we have plenty of woolen blankets! Loftet has no separate living room, instead a large dining room when you walk in, and a smaller space upstairs with 2 chairs to relax in the winter. Please take a look at the other houses we offer; Lidret, Loftet, & Smedjan The space There is a fully functioning kitchen and dining space downstairs with a woodoven and views on the forest behind the house - look for deer in the morning! Upstairs is a separate toilet, 2 single beds of 90x200 cm and a space to relax a little in the evenings or cold weather. Downstairs is the master bedroom with a 180x200 bed and bathroom with toilet and shower. Don’t forget to take advantage of the Sauna by the lake, and the woodfired outdoor bath next to it! Guest access Guests have free access to our wood-fired sauna next to the lake, as well as the wood-fire-warmed hot tub next to it - in good weather, there is also a canoe that can be used! Guests are free to roam around the property, greet the animals, and enjoy the area. There is a washing machine, dryer, and space to dry clothes on guest request. For guests with children we have a trip trap available. Other things to note In the summer berries and mushrooms can be found in the forest, as well as barbecuing and swimming in the lake. In the winter it's possible to skate on the lake, sled, and take a hot sauna followed by a dip in the water when we cut a hole in the ice! Guests have free access to the sauna and outside bath at any time. Wood is also freely available. For the bath, we ask that you let us know the day before you want to use it so we can fill it. When the temperatures are below 0C, the bath takes 6-8 hrs to warm up and requires wood every 30-45 minutes. We are available to help and answer questions, but guests should maintain the fires until the desired temperature is reached.
