Bunting Cottage in the centre of Lyme Regis

Nestled in the heart of Lyme Regis, Bunting Cottage is a Grade II listed building only a 5 minute walk from the seafront and town centre. Located on Coombe Street, next to the famous Dinosaurland Fossil Museum, it sits in an iconic part of town depicted on Lyme Regis postcards and pictures. Offering a cosy lounge, well equipped kitchen, a double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom and a secret garden, Bunting Cottage is perfect for family holidays, couples retreats, or time alone or with friends. The space Bunting Cottage is located on Coombe Street, just a 5 minute walk to the seafront, town centre and with easy access to a range of bars and restaurants. The accommodation offers a cosy lounge linking through to a well equipped kitchen via an open doorway. Upstairs there is a master double bedroom, a second bedroom with two single beds and a desk, and a bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, sink and lavatory. There is a Smart TV in the lounge, wifi throughout the home, gas central heating and the kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, microwave, washing machine and dining table. Outside, there is a small seating area with a bistro set, and up two flights of steps there is a secret garden offering a real suntrap with privacy and tranquillity. The garden also boasts a Beach Hut, originally from the Lyme Regis promenade, which can be enjoyed as a relaxing summer house. As this is a very old cottage, the steps up to the garden are also very old, uneven and can become slippery, and so whilst guests are welcome to enjoy the garden, they do so at their own risk. The access to the rear is also shared with next door, however the garden itself is not shared. They have their own garden separate to ours. Guest access Guests enjoy the use of the entire property to themselves. Coombe Street is a narrow, picturesque and historic part of Lyme Regis and Bunting Cottage fronts straight onto the road. There are public car parks nearby and, for an additional charge, we can provide a resident's parking permit to Woodmead Car Park (which is closest) which will save you money during your stay. Other things to note Coombe Street is in a very pretty part of Lyme Regis and, as a result, it is also a popular part of town. As Bunting Cottage fronts straight onto the narrow road, you will hear vehicles passing and also people's voices as they walk up and down the road. Whilst we would not class it as noisy, it is important to appreciate that you are in a popular area that gets busy, particularly in the summer. If you have small children, it is important to be very careful opening the front door as there is no footpath and you are straight onto the road.
