The space Fully furnished and perfectly located, Ravensworth Cottage is the ideal getaway for leisure or work. Enjoy your own home away from home, complete with amenities and convenient access to the idilic and breathtaking sights of North Yorkshire, a stone's throw from Richmond. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole property and bedrooms, including front and back garden, shed and a private parking space. Other things to note Q What is your check-in and check-out time? A Our check-in time is 15:00 and check-out is 11:00. Q Are you able facilitate early check-in and/or late check-out? A We're often super busy and booked back to back. However, it's always worth asking; if we can and the property is vacant; of course we will. The only charge we make is for late check-out (subject to availability) after 2pm. There is a charge of £35 for check-out up until 5pm. Q Do you accept pets? A Unfortunately, we do not accept pets to remain allergy free. Q How many guests can Ravensworth Cottage accommodate? A 4 adults or children across 2 bedrooms (1 king size bed, 2 single beds). Q How much do you charge per night? A Ravensworth Cottage is listed across many booking platforms. Rates may differ marginally - we do try to ensure nightly rates are similar, please remember some platforms charge us a significant commission to manage the booking. Q How do I get to Ravensworth Cottage and will I need a car to get around? A You can reach us by car, train or bus. Our nearest mainline connecting station is Darlington (25 minute car journey). Once you're at the cottage, a car is not necessary if you wish to explore Ravensworth, our local pubs and farm shops. If you want to explore the wider area, we would recommend bringing/hiring a car or using the local taxi company. There is a community bus service which runs hourly until 4pm Monday-Saturday. Q How do I collect keys and obtain the alarm code? A Keys can be collected 15 minutes prior to check-in. Your alarm code will be emailed or messaged to you 24 hours prior to your stay. Q Do you have a cleaning charge? A We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean and tidy cottage. As such, our regular cleaners (Monika and Maureen) always ensure the property is ready on arrival. Dependent on what platform you book on, you might incur a cleaning fee of £55-£65; this is the direct cost we incur. Q Do you supply tea and coffee? A Traditional Yorkshire tea, coffee and long life milk will always be provided to get you started. Q Do you have a speaker/audio system? A There is an Alexa speaker within the lounge which is connected to Spotify, simply say 'Alexa, play Elton John' to launch. Radio stations can also be played through the speaker. Q What happens if there is a problem during my stay? A You can message us through your booking platform should any issues occur. In addition, for emergencies - you'll be supplied with a mobile telephone number. Q What is the minimum age for guests? A The lead guest/booker must be over the age of 18. Other guests can be from 1 month - 150 years old; everyone is able to enjoy Ravensworth!
