Walking is the best way to get around, but the bus stop is at the end of the block, just one minute away, and you can walk down the street to the Central Station for a taxi, a rental car or the bus terminal that will get you just about anywhere in Switzerland, Northern Italy and an easy connection to the Malpensa International Airport. If you prefer, there is an electric bike app service. This tastefully designed, new home has a modern vibe and was newly furnished in 2022. The apartment is fully equipped with high speed 10 Gbit/s wifi, 300 TV channels, private washer and dryer for your exclusive use in apartment, A/C, and a new kitchen with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, induction stovetop, oven, and Nespresso coffee machine. The Living Room has a 50" Samsung Smart TV, modern art, and a desk and dedicated work space. You can expect to have the essentials upon arrival: salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil, tea, coffee, toilet paper, bath towels, dish soap, hand soap, shampoo. As well as a wardrobe in the bedroom, there is a large built-in closet in the hallway. There is a marble bathroom with an extra large shower. A spacious balcony with chairs and table overlooks the lake and mountains. For short stays, a private underground car park is available for an additional fee. Prior to arrival you will be asked for copies of your documents (Passport or National ID card) for registration to the local authorities. This is compulsory, in accordance with the laws on hospitality. Your data will be treated in accordance to the privacy laws of Switzerland. Failure to comply with this obligation will constitute a violation of the law and we will be authorised to ask you to leave the premises, with no refund of your reservation. Early check in may be available for an additional fee of CHF 30; Late check out may also be available for an additional fee. Guest access The entire apartment will be at your disposal! For short stays, private underground parking is available for an additional charge. When booking you will be asked to present your documents (passport or ID) for registration to the local police. This is mandatory, according to hospitality laws. Your data will be processed in accordance with the privacy laws of Switzerland. Failure to comply with this obligation will constitute a violation of the law and we will be authorized to ask you to leave the premises, without refunding your reservation. The tourist tax of CHF 3.50 per person and per night and the city tax of CHF 4.25 per person per night are included in the price of your stay. Other things to note Proximity to the train and bus stations to all conveniences and wonderful restaurants, cafes, bars, parks, supermarkets and downtown Lugano make this neighborhood a central, safe, fun and interesting location from which to explore all of this city and its surrounding area. While you can easily walk everywhere from this location, the bus stop is around the corner and private short-term underground parking is available at an additional cost.
