Description
The main house of a "Washi" papermaker, which had been vacant for 20 years, was renovated and "Washi" paper was used everywhere, including walls and ceilings. Since it opened in June 2023, and many culture-lovers from Japan and beyond have been staying here. Please enjoy new experiences, exchanges, and accommodations in a space filled with Washi Art. The space Room name: Akebi This room is inspired by the ancient Japanese fruit "Akebi". You will feel as if you are surrounded by Washi art. By applying three layers of handmade Washi, the room is covered in fresh and deep Washi-Art. Guest access WarabeeLand The kitchen is off limits on the first floor of the main house. The hall and front room are free to use. The second floor is off-limits except for the reserved rooms. If you wish to listen to music or talk after 9:00 p.m., please use The Frontroom with the door closed. (out of consideration for our neighbors) Other things to note BBQ and fireworks are available, and BBQ stands (including knives and cutting boards) can be rented. Guests are responsible for providing their own food, nets, charcoal, and other supplies. Tarp can be rented for rainy days. The Washi Art used in the WarabeeLand main building is very valuable because it is the only one of its kind in the world.
