In the heart of the ancient city, the Malìa B&B occupies the first floor of an ancient 17th-century building. The rooms are very large and bright, the furniture is elegant and essential. The space The Malìa B&B is located in the seventeenth-century family palace, known for having been inhabited by the Duke of S.Cesario, Carlo Marulli, after 1860. This historic building housed Salento aristocrats who aspired to the restoration of the Bourbon kingdom. In 2007, the current owner, an architect and painter, undertook a restoration of the apartment, transforming it into a charming space. This refined environment is ideal for welcoming guests eager to immerse themselves in an experience of discovering the city and its hidden corners. Guest access A large living room, full of books on art, photography, design and history of the city and the beauty of the place, is the center of the apartment where guests can meet. During your stay Laura personally welcomes her guests and accompanies them throughout their stay in her home, offering suggestions and advice on places to visit, scenic itineraries, restaurants, art shops, and craft shops where it is worth stopping for a break.
