Vesting 16, chalet on the waterfront

We renovated and redecorated our chalet in 2023. We are happy to share the chalet with our guests. The chalet is suitable for couples and families and is located at the Veluwe Strandbad recreation area. At the chalet, you can enjoy the outdoors and the beautiful views over the water. When the weather is nice, you can relax on our spacious terrace or the private sandy beach. All facilities are within walking distance. The space When you rent the chalet from us, you will be greeted with a warm welcome at the reception, you will receive a key and you can quietly go to your place. Once you arrive, your holiday on the Veluwe can begin. All amenities are available: from a cozy living room, equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, bathroom with shower and toilet, to a sun-drenched terrace. There is a lockable shed to store bicycles. Walk 100 meters and enjoy the sandy beach of the Veluwemeer, the swimming pool or the bowling in the park. The cozy center of Elburg can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. Do you want to sail? Then rent our sloop and discover the Veluwemeer. The chalet will be equipped with a fixed air conditioning in early 2025. Guest access Our relaxed chalet is suitable for couples and families and is located at Veluwe Strandbad, a family park located directly on the Veluwemeer. At the chalet, you can enjoy the outdoors and the beautiful views over the water. When the weather is nice, you can relax on our spacious terrace or the private sandy beach. Of course, you can also actively go on the water, the park has a number of sports fields and playgrounds. Bikes are available for rent through the reception of the park. If the weather is not so good, you can use the indoor swimming pool and the cozy bowling alley. Furthermore, there is a recreation team at the park almost every school holiday. Don't feel like cooking? The park has 2 good restaurants and a snack bar. There is a lot to do in the area. You can take beautiful cycling and hiking trips across the Veluwe. Or discover the Hanseatic city of Elburg with over 250 monuments, 8 museums, cozy restaurants and nice boutiques. For those who want a little more action: Walibi Holland amusement park and the associated festival grounds are just 5 km away. Other things to note - Bicycle rental is available at the reception. - We have a sloop for rent. Contact us for the possibilities and costs. - Towels, tea and kitchen towels plus bed linen are not included. - The chalet is not wheelchair-friendly and it is necessary to go up a small staircase (2 steps) to enter the chalet. - It is not possible to place a camping bed in one of the bedrooms, but the living room does offer this possibility. - Our chalet is pet-free. - Smoking is not allowed in the chalet. - No parties or events may be organized at the chalet. - Quiet hours in the park are between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. The barrier for entering the park by car is closed during this period. - The tourist tax to be paid to the park is €1.60 per person per night and will be charged additionally. - We may request a security deposit of €200.00 per stay, payable in advance. We expect the chalet to be left tidy and in its original condition. If this is the case, the deposit will be refunded as soon as possible after departure.
