Welcome to Draper's Guesthouse, our home away from home in a gated Johannesburg residential area! With 5G Wifi, a pool, a hot tub and areas to work remotely: our guesthouse is great for families, travellers or couples planning a romantic getaway. We are a 10 minutes drive from OR Tambo Airport and Johannesburg CBD. Airport Shuttle service & private tours are available on request. We have on-site staff, an open-plan living/kitchen/dining room & several outdoor seating areas for you to enjoy! The space About the room: Room 5 is one of 2 double rooms with shared access to a full bathroom (complete with a bathtub, shower and toilet), sofa, cupboard, TV and side tables. The room also has access to a balcony. Cots are available on request. Downstairs, you'll have access to a ground-floor toilet with an open-plan living/dining room and kitchen. Our guesthouse often attracts couples, tourists, digital nomads or workers in need of easy access around the city. All rooms will be serviced daily by our housekeeper. Bed linens and towels are provided free of charge. Extra blankets (found in the cupboards) and heaters can also be added to each room on request. We also can provide full meals during your stay for an additional fee or offer a continental breakfast (tea, coffee, spreads, toast, cereal and fruits) for R30 per person, per day. Guest access You'll have access to all of the areas listed below with the exception of House on Draper (our neighbouring property): Several outdoor seating areas: perfect to work from home or entertain outside Outdoor gym equipment Braai/BBQ (can be self-catered. We can prepare your meals for an additional fee) Hot tub/Jacuzzi: Please let us know if you intend to use this ahead of your stay Garden with grass areas and a kids' swingset, slide & play house On-site parking can fit up to 10 cars (protected by house gates) Our housekeeper, Mandy, will be onsite to answer any questions you may have. Other things to note During high season (September- March) we will be hosting several events on the property for our guests to enjoy: From Braai Nights, "Sip & Paint", movie nights and pool days. Please enquire during your reservation and we'll let you know our events calendar during your stay! There are options to book additional amenities during your stay: Hairdryers and straighteners will be available to loan for R30 with a R50 refundable cash deposit. We also offer private tours around some of Johannesburg's most popular tourist attractions. The starting price is R150 a person (the price is dependent on group numbers & intended tourist locations)
