Sleeping in a 700-Year-Old Wooden Building
Sleeping in a 700-Year-Old Wooden Building
Description
This inn, which does not have an inscription, is thought to be a 13th century Seljuk work according to the documents known from the Cultural Directorate. The renovation inscription from the Ottoman period is located at the entrance of the building. It is known that Merkuroğlu wrote this inscription, which was written in the Ottoman and Greek alphabet dated 1880. It can be assumed that the inn, which is referred to as "Müftü Inn in the West of Pervane Bath" in Evliya Çelebi's Seyehatname, is Yazmacılar Inn.
