Rainier! The space The midcentury beach cabin has been updated and renovated but remains full of character and quirks. A true family cabin! Ideal for 2-4 persons. The cabin layout is simple by design, with a south-facing sunroom that flows into one great family room and kitchen. One garden-side master guest bedroom w Queen bed and closet. One bunk room with 2 kid's beds. One smaller beach-facing bedroom w a Queen. And a modest bathroom and shower. Chill. Play. Eat. S'mores! A sizable, raised lawn area with an outdoor dining table and fire circle leads out to our driftwood-strewn beach, before the endless sand at low tide begins. Parking is available 24/7 in the public lot next door and in our narrow grass driveway that leads to the back of the cabin. Are you a swimmer? Useless Bay is so shallow that in the summer when the tide pushes back in over the sun-baked sand it becomes like a bath. Are you a walker? The high, sandy cliffs of Double Bluff with a westerly view to the Olympic Mountains are about a 15 min stroll away. Are you a looker? Our local eagles watch over everything from from the tallest fir tree in the area just 75' from our kitchen door. Guest access Full cabin access. Two doors in/out. The kitchen entrance fronts the beach park’s parking lot - making it super easy for unloading the car. Feel free to pull into the triangle spot along our fence to load in & out. Other things to note Be prepared for stunning views of Mt. Rainier. Daily visits from Eagles perching in the fir tree above. And inspired sunrises.
