Welcome to Camp Elena! We are A Desert Retreat located 9.5 miles outside Big Bend National Park and 2.2 miles from Terlingua Ghost Town. Our private tents and shared spaces offer a back-to-the-wild, luxury glamping experience with breathtaking views of the Chisos and Christmas Mountain Ranges and The World's Largest Dark Sky Reserve. Relax and unwind during a couple's getaway or group retreat while enjoying modern and sustainable amenities in the Texas Wild West. The space Luxury Tent #1 is a safari-style tent that blends seamlessly with the desert landscape and offers breathtaking views of the Chisos Mountains in Big Bend National Park. Each of our tents features a king bed, en suite kitchen, full bathroom, and sliding glass doors and zip-down windows to fully embrace the surroundings. Wake up to the sunrise, sip coffee or tea on the private deck, and unwind with stargazing by the campfire. Luxury Tent #1 accommodates up to 2 adults and 1 child under 12, or 1 adult and 2 children under 12. Please keep in mind this tent requires the use of stairs. Guest access All guests have access to the shared spaces, which includes hammocks, a picnic table, and a group fire pit (with jenga!), all with amazing sunrise and sunset mountain views.
