Situated on the edge of 5 acres of forest between Acadia National Park and downtown Southwest Harbor, this cozy cabin is ideal for a weekend trip or a longer stay on beautiful Mount Desert Island. Enjoy your morning coffee on porch before heading out for a hike around Long Pond, a swim at Echo Lake, or a walk into town for the weekly Farmer’s Market, shops and restaurants - all a mile or less away! End your day around the outdoor fire pit, roasting marshmallows or enjoying an evening cocktail. The space This listing is for one of two cabins on the property. The other cabin (Misty Moon) is a 2 bedroom cabin and is also available for rent. The property is located on a private residential road. Little Loon is a newly-constructed (2022) cabin that has everything you need for your stay, including a fully-stocked kitchen, comfortable living room with fast WiFi and Roku-TV, and a separate Queen-sized bedroom. Outdoor space includes a fire pit, grill and ample space for parking. Guest access Both cabins have their own private picnic area and fire pit. Guests are welcome to explore the rest of our property, which borders with a section of Acadia National Park.
