Looking for sunsets and beachfront while experiencing authentic island life? This house in Sandy Bay is minutes from some of the best beaches and attractions. Steps away from Anthony's Key Resort where you can swim with dolphins, scuba dive or enjoy a great breakfast. Walking distance to a new grocery store, several restaurants and dive shops including The Jolly Octopus and Beach Grille at the Blue Bahia. Some of the best snorkeling on the island is a short swim from the end of the 200 ft. dock. Relax and enjoy swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling and fishing off of our private 200 foot dock. There is a fresh water shower out on the dock to rinse off when you come in from boating or swimming and another shower located right up on the second floor deck. Lay in the hammocks and watch beautiful sunsets and the millions of stars in the night sky. Listen to the waves as you sit and enjoy dinner or an evening cocktail on our 20x20 deck. There are fans in the main living areas and bedrooms. The house does not have central air but has fantastic island breezes! You have private access to the entire second floor condo unit which is approximately 1500 square feet. The 200 foot dock is shared with our long term first floor renters. I will be available by phone/email or text 24/7 and typically respond within the hour. I am happy to answer any questions, comments or concerns you may have. The neighborhood is a mix of expats, missionaries and local families with a rustic island vibe. There is a little store "pulperia" called Elizabeth's steps away as well as Simona's local restaurant where you can get a taste of authentic island cooking. A fruit and veggie truck comes weekly and it's not uncommon to have people come around selling fresh baked goods. Here you will meet many locals and experience the true culture of Island living. Our Island home is centrally located between Coxenhole and West End. It is NOT a resort. It is OUTSIDE the busy tourist areas. We are a quick trip by taxi or watertaxi to beautiful beaches in West End and West Bay. The house is beachy and is a great location as far as access and proximity to the airport, shopping and minutes from the best beaches and tourist attractions. We are in a small local community and offer affordable beachfront living with the basics. Bed linens, pillows, sheets, towels, beach bags, cooler bags, closets, dressers, full size kitchen appliances, coffee pot, microwave and other kitchen essentials. Guests provide personal use items such as soaps, sunscreen and paper products. We have WiFi, 70 inch TV in one bedroom and 40 inch TV in the main living area both with cable including over 100 basic and premium channels. We have an on-site manager and require that bookings accurately reflect all reservation details including but not limited to the number of guests and/or potential guests at any given time.
